*holds back tears* god i love james norrington
Rewatched the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and boy howdy. Commodore Norrington is my favorite. Underrated character and arguably the most attractive in my humble opinion. His voice, his face, his general nobility despite everything he worked for falling apart around him. It’s that stupid wig, it’s blinding everybody from his true power.
Well, him.
Who in your opinion is the most attractive out of the main five? (Whether or not they're your favorite)
James Norrington
Hector Barbossa
Elizabeth Swann
Will Turner
Jack Sparrow
None of them/see results

Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann and Orlando Bloom as Will Turner PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST 2006 | dir. Gore Verbinski
"[Norrington] finds himself in a position where he’s meant to appear strong and invulnerable, and he’s really vulnerable and in public, and that’s pretty difficult for him to deal with. [...] Beneath the brocade beats a heart, as opposed to a watch, you know." — jack davenport, the curse of the black pearl interview
HAPPY SCRUFFINGTON MONDAY!!
“This character is dead in canon” to you. They’re dead in canon to you. To me they’re fine
They’re a 10 but they’re fictional and dead
finishing my potc marathon with awe tonight and im very much not looking forward to the Worst Scene Ever
it's just so unfair, James didn't deserve to die. he didn't need a "redemption" scene, he was never a bad guy
