My Bella Alice Fic is finally continuing. And I’m excited to say it is pushing to a conclusion.
The man that was murdered in cold blood by ICE today was an ICU nurse that treated critically ill patients at the VA. He was a caretaker of our nation’s veterans. A healthcare worker. A lawful gun owner who did nothing wrong. He was helping a woman who was assaulted by ICE. And they killed him.
RIP Alex Pretti 🕊️

She Leaned In
Lena awakens with a start, the medical bed is deathly silent all about her. Shooting up she looks to the bed, and sees its dimly glowing golden surface is empty. She rushes to the door, unable to speak, choking with fear. Exiting the med bay, she rushes out in desperate search for Kara fearing that the entire rescue was a dream.
In a moment of silent relief she sees Kara in the tower’s largest and most open space leaning against the back of a sofa on unsteady legs. Without a second thought or a single word, she comes up behind the blonde and swiftly wraps her arms around her in as warm an embrace as she has ever given.
Kara uncharacteristically, freezes and stiffens at the touch. Lena undaunted presses herself against Kara’s back sharing her warmth. Kara’s right arm stiffly and oh so slowly reaches up to hold Lena’s. Her hand hesitates to connect for an incredibly long moment. To Lena’s delight and relief the surprisingly cold hand grasps her own.
Kara releases the breath she didn’t even know she was holding. Expecting the entire world around her to fall away the moment she believed it was true. Expecting the tower itself to shatter and for that hellscape to return. Kara nearly collapses in that moment. But Lena’s arms hold tight and she stands firm.
If this were not the culmination of so many weeks of desperation to save her, Lena might chuckle at the idea that she was the strong one holding up Supergirl this time. Instead a sharp pain in her chest begins to fade as she holds as tightly as she can on to the Kryptonian. They had all fought so hard to save her and she won’t let Kara fall back in to that cold darkness.
Kara sobs silently, the weight of the Phantom Zone still resting so heavy on her shoulders. The only thing she can let herself focus on in this moment is elegant arms interlacing around her and the calm breathing and familiar heartbeat of the only other person that maters in the world. They stand in silence for what feels like years before Kara finally speaks.
Her voice cracks, as if from years of disuse. “He was never really there was he?”
“You… you were all alone when we found you.” Lena responds, sadness at the edges of her voice. “But your not alone anymore, never again.”
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep Lena.” Coldly responds the Woman of Steel.
With surprising strength, Lena spins Kara around in her arms. Locking her own blood shot eyes on to Kara’s. She had never seen Kara this defeated before, not even in all the inches were fighting. She doesn’t hesitate to speak with all of her strength and compassion.
“I will never leave you Kara. I almost gave up all of National City just to get you back.” Lena’s doesn’t hold back her tears. “I didn’t sleep for days after Lex banished you. All any of us could do was try desperately to get you back.”
“You brought me a sun.” Responds Kara with a faint smile curling her lips, if only for a moment. “You shouldn’t have tried, I’m not worth it.”
Lena tightens her grip on her best friend and looks desperately in to her eyes. “Don’t you dare say that! You mean so much to so many people.” Tears are fully streaming down Lena’s pale cheeks now. “You are a beacon of hope to National City, an amazing friend to Nia and Brainy, a surrogate daughter to J’onn. You’re Alex’s sister for god’s sake.” Lena hesitates for only a moment before continuing no longer willing to hide. “And you mean everything to me. I… I’m in love with you, Kara. I think I always have been.”
Kara’s eyes focus on Lena. The tears still streaming down her pale cheeks, her emerald eyes shining so brightly, and her teeth hesitantly bitting against her red lip. Kara wants to say so much but can’t trust her voice. She slowly closes her eyes and inhales deeply. Holding her breath and her eyes for a moment too long, Kara hesitates to open them.
When she does open her eyes and release her trapped breath, she sees Lena is still there. The tower is still around them, the Phantom Zone is gone. Locking her eyes once more on to Lena’s crimson lips, Kara gives in to years of repressed feelings and longing glances. She leans in and without a word she presses her own lips to Lena’s. Her unsteady arms wrap around Lena, and Lena’s own arms reposition themselves around Kara.
Lena responds to the kiss with equal passion, holding back only because Kara is still sluggish from her ordeal. The two women remain in their embrace for a short eternity before they break the kiss. Kara leaning on Lena as she once more feels the weakness creeping through her. Lena never for a moment letting the weight of the Kryptonian wear her down.
Kara soon recovers enough to stand on her own, but can’t bring herself to stop pressing herself to Lena’s warmth. She smiles the largest and most natural smile she has mustered since being rescued. “I think I need to go back to bed.” She stumbles out.
“I will take you to bed.” Responds Lena with a smile greater than any Kara had seen in a very long time. “And I’ll be right at your side until you wake up once more.”
“I love you too Lena.” Finally says Kara, her voice stronger than it has been. “I know the kiss gave it away, but I still wanted to say the words.”
“I appreciate it Kara.” Responds Lena choking back tears of joy as the two begin the journey back to the medical bed.
Lena lays Kara on the bed, and the solar lamps kick back on instantly. Kara’s head comes to a stop on the small and firm pillow. She can feel the artificial yellow sunlight bombarding her body. She unleashes a faint sigh and continues to grasp hold of Lena’s hand in her own. Kara’s eyes flutter shut as her body begins to relax and absorb the yellow light.
“I’m going to be right here when you wake.” Whispers Lena soothingly.
Super Girl’s
It wasn’t Lena’s first Crisis, not even close. But it was the first time her girls became directly involved. After middle school they both became involved in keeping the streets clear. In protecting civilians, in all of the parts that they could without directly involving themselves. But after they graduated high school things shifted dramatically.
This Crisis however involved a fake invasion of Argo City drawing half of the earth’s heroes away. That included Kara, Clark, and J’onn, as well as the Waverider. When the ships were caught up on the trap, the real invasion of earth began. An assembled fleet of pissed off former invaders of earth under the command of the Dominators.
Lena was a little reluctant to give her daughters their nanotech suits. She had designed them to be identical as a default but with the ability to redesign them to fit the girl’s individual styles. They didn’t stop her from taking pictures of them in nearly identical suits to Kara’s. Kara would be upset not to at least see the pictures.
Alura’s redesign didn’t surprise Lena at all. Gone were the blues of Kara’s suit replaced with sleek blacks. Her cape became a black leather style jacket with a bright gold crest on the back. And then she threw on her latest pair of yellow tinted sunglasses for added flair.
Lara is the one who surprised her the most. She went with a stark white suit, and no crest in the center. Instead she added a golden pauldron on her left shoulder with a crimson crest at its center. The remaining reds of her suit became blue helping her stand out.
The two who once looked indistinguishable, now couldn’t look any more different. They set out off in the sky and fought valiantly against the invasion. Lena was afraid of course, what mother wouldn’t be? But she had more than just her daughters to think about.
Brainy and Nia’s daughter Quora, joined in the fight using a few pieces of technology she had developed. Even Esme joined in the fight, copying the powers of her cousins. With a handful of young heroes fighting back, and the few remaining experienced heroes leading the way they held back the invasion. When Superwoman, Superman, and the remaining heroes leading a group of Kryptonian’s from Argo against the fleet, it was all over.
Kara was so excited to see her girls in their suits. She wasn’t as thrilled with Lara deciding to call herself Power Girl. But she wasn’t going to argue with her. She loved both girls looks over all, despite wishing one of them was looking just a little bit more like her.
All four of them celebrated together that night. It last for all of an hour before all three supers were out cold from their exhausting day. Lena once more and probably for the last time tucked in her girls in that night. Soon after she was snuggling up against her wife and wrapping that red cape around them both.
First Date’s
Lena was much less prepared for her girls to start dating than she was for them to start middle school. It was one thing when Alura asker her about Esme’s boyfriend at her niece’s Sweet 16. She explained the basics of dating and liking people. It even blew both girl’s minds to learn that she and Kara had dated other people in the past.
They decided not to mention the James situation for a while longer yet. When she got a call about her daughter kissing another student in school the two months in to freshman year she was mildly proud. To her surprise, it was Lara and not Alura who had corners and kissed the girl in question. She was not in trouble but the timing and place of the kiss was deemed inappropriate.
It wasn’t until the girls first dance that dating became a reality. Lara was so nervous to bring up the subject. She even went so far as to create a presentation about why she should be allowed to date. It was of course completely unnecessary, but Lena found it all endearing.
Alura was much more direct about the whole thing, citing other girls in their class already dating. Kara was surprisingly against the idea at first. She warmed up to it, realizing that their girls are living very different lives from her. Lena was not overtly supportive of the two dating, but she couldn’t deny them their chance to date despite the potential pitfalls.
The night of the dance, Alura was excited to show off her black and silver dress. Her knee high boots were adorned with silver skulls, the most overt part of her outfit. Her hair was not her usual magenta, instead she went with a midnight blue. Her makeup was also surprisingly subtle for her.
Her boyfriend picked her up, and of course at the insistence of Lena and Kara he met the two of them. Kara wanted to wear her Superwoman suit, but Lena insisted on normal clothes. It’s not like he didn’t already know who she was. He was obviously nervous standing there in his black and midnight blue suit and tie. Erik’s black hair swooped over his left eye, and he did his best to hide behind it.
Kara did her best to be the tough mom, and it was quite adorable. In the end they didn’t grill him too hard. He had used a ride share to get there and to get them both to the dance. He was reminded of Alura’s curfew, and seemed to accept everything in stride.
Lara wore a blue dress with gold accents. She even threw on a long flowing red scarf, almost like she was wearing a cape. Her hair was up in a braided bun, and she kept teasing at two bits dangling and framing her face. Her shoes were stylish but surprisingly practical. All in all she looked stunning, but nervous.
Lena tried to calm her down, when her anxiety spiked. What she didn’t know at the time was, she heard her date exiting the elevator. Her date knocked at the door not long after, making her force herself to smile and act calm. Kara answered the door with a stern smile that quickly softened.
Standing there was a young woman with golden orange skin and long curly reddish brown hair and bright glowing green eyes. She was dressed in a lot of long thin and flowing lavender and violet layers. She had several pieces of golden jewelry, especially rings and necklaces. She was almost as bubbly as Kara as she greeted them all.
Kara couldn’t maintain her attempt to be the tough mom, but she didn’t leave it all to Lena to be strict. They repeated much of the same instructions concerning Lara’s curfew. T’ressa happily announced that she had flown to the penthouse and intended to fly with Lara to and from the dance. It was a joyous surprise to them that Lara was so excited to fly with her date.
Private School
Kara had always hated the idea of the girls going to a private school. She preferred the more diverse nature of public school as her primary argument. Lena however countered with how bored the girls were in public school. How they had more advantages in a private setting, with a broader curriculum.
As with most things, Lena won the argument. Though this time it was thanks to both girls arguing along side of her. Lara was excited for the added structure to her day. Alura however quickly came to regret her decision.
Alura had from an early age decided she would differentiate herself from her sister. She chose to do so through her clothing and then her backpacks. She even went to far as to doodle on her shoes with her heat vision, much to Lena’s annoyance. Going to a private school meant a strict dress code and limitations on what she could do with her bag.
After a miserable week of the other students mixing the pair up, Alura decided to enlist her Aunt Alex’s help. It took an entire night of pizza and sodas while Aunt Kelly was out of town to come up with a plan. She died her hair a bright magenta and thanks to mirrors and heat vision she shaved the sides of her head. One threat from the headmaster to expel her later, and Lena’s lawyers descended upon the school.
Alura’s new style swiftly caught on at the school and the rules were amended to allow a little more flare on the students backpacks. Even Lara added some flare to her bag, though she preferred her hair long and its natural shade. The remainder of middle and high school Lena was not allowed on to the school grounds with more than one lawyer in tow. Kara was also moved to the top of the call list for disciplinary actions.
Kindergarten
The twins first day of school was nerve wracking for Lena. They had gone to daycare before of course, and been to Nana Eliza’s for the weekend. But school was a new experience. Lena had over prepared the two with flash cards and red solar bracelets to limit their strength.
It wasn’t like the world didn’t already know that the twins were the daughters of Supergirl. When the two decided to have a child, it was always a part of the discussion. Lena barely got anything done that day, thankfully Sam and Jess helped pick up her slack. Even lunch with her wife only did so much to calm her heart.
When the time finally came to pick up her baby girls from school, Lena was almost as excited as they were. Kara was waiting at home, having already discovered how distracting it could be if Supergirl picked the girls from Daycare. Both girls had new friends to talk about, they both loved their teacher, and they were excited to go back. To celebrate, Kara insisted on them all going out flying as a family.
Lena didn’t even have time to put on her latest powered suit before all three of the girls in her life picked her up and all but dragged her out onto the balcony. Lara and Alura were the first to take off, after switch hung their bracelets from red to yellow. Kara swooped Lena up in her arms and bridal carried her out in to the night sky. A perfect end to a stressful first day.
First Flight
Lena was initially afraid that she had done something wrong. She feared that her girls Lara and Alura were unstable. She had run every test she could imagine when they were born. And all of the results told her the same thing, they were healthy.
Kara joked that all the proof we need were the girl’s laughs and their smiling faces. At least it seemed like a joke to Lena while she was in crisis mode. As she thought back on it, her wife was being genuine. She always is, especially when it comes to the twins.
The first night she knew they had powers already, they were two. Lena was getting ready for her and Kara’s weekly date night. Kara insisted it should be Thursday, Lena insisted it be Friday. And Lena was not too proud to admit she used dirty tactics to make her case.
Lara was giggling at something, and then stopped. As the little girl keep starting and stopping Lena had to see what was so amusing. As she crept through the apartment, she spotted Alura floating up out of her playpen causing Lara to giggle uproariously. When Alura seemed to be tired of flying, Lara tried her hand at it.
Lena recorded about five minutes of her girls floating up and back down causing the other to excitedly giggle. After a few more minutes the pair floated in to the same playpen and were fast asleep. Lena was both excited and apprehensive when Alex Kelly and Esme arrived.
She immediately began telling her tale to which Alex flippantly responded, “Pics or it didn’t happen.” Lena showed the video and all Alex had to sit down. Kelly acted like it was the most adorable thing any baby had ever done. And then Esme concentrated and started to float off the floor herself.
Needless to say, when Kara returned home for their dinner, it became a night in. Lena now determined to fully Kryptonian proof the apartment. Esme ever the wonderful older cousin, kept a watchful eye on the twins as Kara and Kelly talked Lena down.
Alex played up the drama in order to relieve some tension, while barely touching her lone beer. Kelly shot her wife stern looks but that sparkle of joy never left her eyes. Kara did convince Lena to at least go out with her to pick up dinner for them all. Despite Lena planning out in excruciating detail how to baby proof their home, Kara did get her to enjoy herself.
Okay, so with my Kara Kent Supergirl rewrite in full swing, I have a very important question for the community here.
How Should Kara be effected by Red Kryptonite in my fic?
The Same loss of inhibitions from season 1.
A loss of her sunnier personality, resulting in fear and depression.
Just ridiculously horny and flirty Kara.
A classic comic book random effect.
My Finest Creation
She felt like she had been waiting her entire lifetime for this moment. The unbridled excitement, the soul crushing fear, and the warmth and light of a sun at her side. Their fingers were laced together as if an unbreakable weave. She knew at a glance that Kara was just as excited and nervous as herself.
Fittingly, the engineering of it had taken nine months. Approval from Argo City took almost as long, so Lena was proud that she began construction first. The basic principles were solid, not dissimilar to illegal tech that Lex had hidden away in Luthor Corp files. It was the cross-species integration and the accelerated development that she was nervous about.
Clark and Lois had proved that human Kryptonian hybrids were more than theoretically possible. And while Lena had thought of attempting a more natural conception, the probability of her unborn daughter inadvertently injuring her in development was too great of a risk. Besides the birthing matrix would be a godsend to so many human couples and other blended families. And if it was fully developed by a human scientist on earth using terrestrial technology, then it could be a gift to the world that no stogy old man or woman from Argo could argue with.
They had seconds to wait before being greeted by their newborn baby. A half human half Kryptonian girl whose first sight in the world would be her mother’s. Lena may have borrowed some from Kryptonian designs but only out of the efficiency of the original design. And something about an egg shaped pod, made karmic sense.
When it was finally time the pod slid apart exposing the perfect sets of eyes. Lena had not expected this turn of event but she and Kara couldn’t be happier. A set of twin girls with shimmering turquoise eyes and dirty blonde locks gazed up at the pair.
After a year of no updates, my Twilight retelling has finally updated. Bella and Alice still live.

Kidnapped 3
The dying light of the evening accompanies the strong burst of cool salty air. Lena refuses to allow herself a respite before they can fully escape. She scans the corrugated metal roof looking for any other kidnappers. She glares down the sights of the riffle her finger trained and ready.
She sees no one in their immediate vicinity, and relaxes slightly. Turning to look at Kara she spots a glint of metal in her hand. The blonde smiles nervously and holds up the doorknob in her hand. Lena glances to the door and sees the surprisingly perfect break.
“I guess the door was worse for the wear than the stairs.” Chuckles Kara nervously. “Hopefully that might buy us a minute.”
“Convenient.” Responds Lena barely above a whisper.
She recognizes the faint shudder from Kara in response to her words. With the added noise of the wind, it could be almost impossible for Kara to hear her. If not for the rest of the evening’s events, maybe she could have dismissed it as the chill of the air. Maybe. Before she could find the words to broach the subject the radio chirped once again.
“Hans, they got out!” Responds the voice of a woman in her mid twenties. “They locked Karl in the cage and bent up the lock. I can’t see em on the cameras.”
“Damn it Marko!” Responds the man the heard before. “They didn’t get out through one of the doors, that leaves… the roof! Get up there after them! Theo, Uli, get your eyes on the roof!”
Lena instinctively reaches for Kara once more and pulls her to the far end of the roof. Kara follows never more than half a step behind. A pair of shots ring out, and the sound of ricochet’s cries out from around them. Kara actually throws her self on top of Lena to protect her.
“Idiots!” Shouts Hans over the radio. “I said eyes on them, not bullets in them! They are useless to us dead!”
Kara scrambled off of Lena and looked her up and down. The woman had literally thrown herself at Lena playing human shield. And here she is acting like her safety doesn’t matter. Lena wanted to yell at her, scream that she isn’t worth this kind of reckless behavior.
But as soon as emerald eyes meet cerulean, she can’t maintain her anger. To her surprise, her thick glasses fell off, and for the first time she is looking in to those eyes unobstructed. As she looked deeper and deeper, she started to think something impossible. The smile that Lara flashed her, stalls her mind until the banging on the roof door snaps her back to the present.
Kara reluctantly pulls herself from Lena and helps her back to her feet. Once more Lena’s eyes scan the roof and surrounding buildings. The nearest buildings are too far to reach, and behind the building is a short pier, before the ocean. If they are very lucky, and the wind was at their backs instead of in their faces, they might make the jump.
A series of slow and heavy thuds against the roof door tell her that it won’t last much longer. Lena contemplates just shooting through the incoming Marko. But two snipers with itchy trigger fingers, are too great of a risk. Instead she positions herself between Kara and the door. Her right arm extended out telegraphing her plan.
“Lena, you don’t have to protect me.” Sighs Kara her hand resting on Lena’s shoulder.
“Just like you didn’t need to shield me from sniper fire, darling.” Counters Lean with a smirk that Kara couldn’t see.
“Lena, answer me one question.” Sighs Kara loud enough for the raven haired CEO. “Do you trust me?”
“With my life.” Answers Lena not missing a beat.
“Good.” Sighs Kara, wrapping her arms around Lena’s waist.
As the roof door finally tears open, Lena is pulled back with impossible strength. The soft and powerful arms around her lifting her as if she was a doll. Lena watches the roof fall away as she tumbles over the side. A decidedly familiar sensation of weightlessness overcomes her as she is pulled over the edge of the pier.
In a matter of seconds she is spun under the thick wooden beams of the warehouse. Somehow Kara manages to spin her around, and her back is held by the strongest hands on earth. Her eyes are staring into Kara’s once more but now she recognizes the eyes of Supergirl’s too. Kara’s distinctive ponytail suddenly looks almost silly on her.
“Well, I guess I can understand why you never thought about dating Supergirl.” Breathes out Lena trying not to scream. “You are most definitely not that narcissistic.”

Kidnapped 2
Kara checked her phone, but of course there was no signal. Any kidnappers worth this kind of effort would have cellphone jammers in place. Lena stands and examines the edges of their cell. Nothing exploitable for an easy escape.
Thanks to the security camera, the next part of their escape plan was made for them. After a few minutes one of the guards opened the lock from the outside. Before he could raise his high tech riffle, Kara had the insane idea to tackle him to the ground. His weapon clattered to the dusty wooden floor as he hit hard.
Lena grabbed the weapon and examined it as best as she could. It seemed as simple to use as any other gun. No obvious security devices or high tech locks. Almost crude actually. Despite the slick look and construction she could probably make something more efficient and effective.
When Kara was back on her feet, Lena had the barrel trained on the masked man. He was slightly dazed, either from the surprising speed of Kara, of the impact with the floor. Kara removed his flack jacket and patted down his pockets before he had recovered. He instinctively grabbed Kara’s wrist, before Lena powers up the weapon drawing his focus.
“Let her go.” States Lena coldly the weapon trained in his chest. “I’m not sure how powerful this is, or how much damage it can do, but I’m willing to test it out.”
With a pained groan he releases Kara. She stands up and pushes him Into their former cell with shocking force. Looking back at Lena she smiles before looping the simple padlock back through the door. As they look at one another the lock gripped tightly in Kara’s hand.
“Well that was easy.” Scoffs Kara her smile warming ever so slightly. “What do we do now?”
“We take his gear and we find out exactly where we are.” Responds Lena looking around the mostly open space.
On their way in she didn’t have a good look, but now she can see some sizable pieces of old machinery stored to one side. The van was gone, and the doors behind where it was, are going to be locked in not guarded from outside. She can spot a likely office not far away, but can’t see inside. A pair of normal sized doors on their left might lead to freedom.
“My guess is we’re at the Binder Port.” Kara states looking around over the rim of her glasses. “It’s not as heavily trafficked as the other ports. It used to be owned by Maxwell Lord.”
“Convenient.” States Lena looking for any more security cameras. “We can’t stay out in the open, we need to find a defendable position or a way out that isn’t guarded.”
“We can try the office for defense, maybe we can find more information there.” Offers Kara releasing the lock and slinging the black vest over her should like it’s nothing.
The distance to the office if less than fifty yards, but it feels like a mile as they are out in the open and completely exposed. Lena glances all around with the riffle as they move. Entering the office, no one else is inside, but a hot cup of coffee is sitting on the old wooden desk. Lena spots the dozen cctv monitors, and zeros in on the feed from the cell.
The lone occupant hanging his head in frustration as he waits. The other cameras are all trained on the outside of the warehouse. Specifically at the entrances, where she spots guards disguised as dock workers. The bulk of their added equipment and the immaculate clothing being the dead giveaway.
The room itself is bare, nothing to give away who might be behind all of this or why they abducted the two of them. The heavy thud of Kara laying out the guards gear almost makes Lena squeeze the trigger. She turns to look at the assembled equipment as Kara’s smile falters as she apologizes with her eyes. A radio with an ear piece is the first thing Lena grabs.
Theresa majority of the weight seems to come from the internal lining of the jacket. Most likely a modified military issue bulletproof vest. The pockets hold various equipment, a multi tool that Lena pockets, and a variety of technical bits. She guesses keys for electronic locks, maybe scramblers for the radios or cell phones.
Whoever these guys are they are well equipped. Which means she and Kara might have trouble finding a way out. Lena refuses to let Kara down. Kara finds a roll of paper beneath the desk and unfurls it in her hands.
“Well, we don’t have much of a basement below us.” Announces Kara looking at the apparent blueprints. “Concrete and steel reinforced sections to keep the building suspended. But nothing underneath us.”
“Did you think we could dig our way out?” Teases Lena try to get a chuckle out of Kara.
“No, just looking for something that didn’t have armed guards watching.” Sighs Kara looking back to Lena.
“Sorry, that sounded mean didn’t it.” Apologizes Lena.
“No, I know when you’re being mean, and you’re not this adorable.” Counters Kara with that damn smile that threatens to make Lena melt.
“We are going to come back to that later.” States Lena just above a whisper. “The exits are guarded, meaning we have to shoot our way out if we can’t find an alternative route. We might be able to use his gear to get out a cell signal, but I can’t trust his equipment.”
“What about the roof?” Asks Kara looking to what can charitably be called a staircase running the length of the warehouse wall. “If we get up there, we might be able to call the police.”
“Well, it’s worth a shot.” Lena reluctantly agrees. “I can’t see a camera feed from the roof.”
Kara suddenly takes hold of Lena’s hand. The warmth that she has come to expect from the blonde’s touch almost overwhelming her. Lena almost gets lost in Kara’s blue eyes, as they look at each other. The moment is ended when a voice comes in over the radio.
“Karl, how are our guests?” Asks a middle aged man in a gruff tone.
Lena immediately pulls Kara along toward the rust littered framework of stairs. Kara moves swiftly behind her allowing Lena to lead and never releasing her grip. When they get out of this, Lena is going to get an answer about their relationship. Her shoes make a soft clank against the rickety metal stairs.
The voice calls out for Karl once more, before a short pause and a request for Marco. “Marco check on Karl, and I swear if he’s asleep I will shoot him myself.”
Before any for can open, the pair of women are halfway up the stairs. If Lena allowed herself to think about what she was doing instead of just doing it, she would slow down. But instead she does her best to reach the access door as fast as she can. Kara never once slowing down or dragging behind.
Lena tests the door, it’s locked of course. She begins to pick the lock before realizing the lock is on the inside, and shaking her head dismissively. Unlocking the door, she stops to look for any suspicious evidence around the door. No obvious tampering, or traps, and she opens the door slowly.

Part 1 https://www.tumblr.com/ettraxx/770217222804324353/kidnapped-its-not-that-lena-was-unfamiliar-with
Kidnapped It’s not that Lena was unfamiliar with kidnapping attempts. Since she first came to live with the Luthor’s she was made aware o
