Ana Mendieta as quoted in Jane Blocker, Who is Ana Mendieta? (Durham and London: Duke University Press) 1999, Linda Montano.
no offense but being filmed by your lover is like… so sexy and romantic imagine ur lover filming you cook, skate on ice, eat food, laugh… bitch
Scarlett Johansson really could have learned her lesson about playing roles she’s not meant for after the Ghost in the Shell but I guess she cares more about money than basic human decency because now she’s going to be playing a trans man
What gets me most about this is that the film (which is called Rub & Tug) is about actual people, and the character Scarjo portrays is someone who has often been misgendered and scrutinized by the media, referred to as “the woman who thinks he’s a man” despite repeatedly insisting that he is in fact, a man.
All Scarjo had to do was say no to this role and the Director should have just sought out an actor who’s also a trans man instead of repeating the same mistake in that flop film Ghost In The Shell.
Let’s hope this one flops
I think the reason you gays are so bad at driving is because of your music. I just left my blinker on for two blocks cause I couldn’t hear it over the Carly Rae

we’re watching the new season of queer eye and my dad is actually crying over the ep with the trans dude, like he’s talking about his top surgery and my dad is in tears going “when you sculpt marble the sculpture is already inside, you’re just getting rid of what isn’t part of it! he’s just getting rid of what isn’t part of him!”
so from my oldass 70 year old dad to all my trans followers, y'all are marble sculptures and you’re perfect
anyway you guys can claim that talking about racism is “discourse” as much as you want to but i know that racism in the community is actually really dangerous and it actually makes impacts in real life the way the petty squabbling over useless bullshit on here doesn’t. we live in a world wherein lgbt neo-n*zis exist and white lgbt people call the cops on black lives matter protestors and white gay couples abuse their adopted nonwhite children and where if a jewish lgbt person goes to pride with a star of david flag people will tell them they’re “zionists” so yeah homonationalism is far more than just internet discourse.
