“My alone feels so good, I’ll only have you if you’re sweeter than my solitude.”
— Warsan Shire
Remember that ace/aro/pan people are valid and welcomed members of the LGBTQ+ community!
I was a cowboy before I moved to Central.
All said and done, it was really nice to see you laugh again, Pride.
I can’t remember laughing, but obviously the sight was nice.
Oh, fuck off, you incontinent brat.
All said and done, it was really nice to see you laugh again, Pride.
this is my platform, this is my mod, and this is me telling you that you need to learn your place.
Guess what? I already knew all those things.
oh, really?
Yeah.
Envy, Pride’s sibling, is in charge of the door! What the fuck are they doing, letting Greed, Pride’s brother, let people in?
you’re not from around here, are you, fake pride?
I just got here.
where the fuck from?
Same place as you, just more complicatedly.
well.
let me tell you how things work around here on this kind of blog.
I already know how things work around here on this kind of blog.
really?
Yeah.
I already knew all about it!
Is Envy, Pride’s sibling, sick? Is it possible for homunculi to get sick? I feel like their dad might have. Died.
this is my platform, this is my mod, and this is me telling you that you need to learn your place.
Guess what? I already knew all those things.
oh, really?
Yeah.
Envy, Pride’s sibling, is in charge of the door! What the fuck are they doing, letting Greed, Pride’s brother, let people in?
um. excuse me?
Hello?
What?
who
the fuck
are you
Who the fuck are you?
i asked you first
I asked you second.
[Scoffs.] He’s Pride, duh, second-in-command of the homunculi, my boyfriend, and co-owns two cats with his sibling.
who
the fuck
are you?
I’m also Pride. I’m new.
who the fuck let you in here?
Greed.
greed who?
My brother, Greed.
Pride’s brother Greed isn’t even in charge of the door…
so, fake pride, let me tell you how things work here
I already know how things work around here.
Pride’s brother Greed is in charge of the snacks, why is he letting people inside of the door?
um. excuse me?
Hello?
What?
who
the fuck
are you
Who the fuck are you?
i asked you first
I asked you second.
[Scoffs.] He’s Pride, duh, second-in-command of the homunculi, my boyfriend, and co-owns two cats with his sibling.

Hello?
Oh
Here’s
The sword
God, I wish this was me…
I mean, I still got a bunch of swords left over so,
grab one if you want?
s o r d
Oh
Here’s
The sword
God, I wish this was me...
There is a tree out there growing wood for your coffin.
Bold of you to assume my body will be found

Wait. Where am I? This isn’t the alley. And the screaming… Oh. Evan? Evan, is that you? Please stop screaming!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON
Why are you talking and moving you’re a corpse I mean it’s nice to see you and all I hope you’ve been well how’s the apples but you’ve very clearly been shot!
It’s a bit of a long story, I suppose. I was robbed on the way back to my hotel, died, and meet Satan. I know, I know, it sounds like I’ve gone mad, and I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t believe me. But it’s the truth.
He was a rather charming fellow. He explained Hell to me, let me explore just a tad, and even let me visit my wife and children. After that, he simply returned me here after making me promise never to return.
…On second thought, it really isn’t all that long.
I.
[He takes a deep breath. He needs his brain to Stop thanks very much.]
…
Yes, yes, that… makes sense. A similar thing happened to me, if you recall– though, you would have been sane to have written that off and forgotten it. Satan and I are good friends, actually; it’s a shame he didn’t mention me. I was there much longer than you– I only got out because his boyfriend is my sweetheart’s brother– and after I served my sentence, I was allowed to stay in solitude.
Looks like we have something very unique in common– name another human to return from the pits of Hell themselves!
He mentioned his boyfriend, actually! He said if I ever wanted to get back in contact with him, that I would need to go meet Greed at the bar he runs. I suppose you would know him, given that he is your beloved’s brother?
It’s comforting to hear. If it had been just me, perhaps I could have fooled myself into thinking I had dreamed it all. But you… you’ve been there too. You know what I’m talking about. I suppose we do share something unique in common after all- I can’t say I’ve heard of many who have achieved this feat.
Ahah, I’m not as familiar with his family as I’d like to be… they can be quite dangerous, especially towards each other. I’ve met him though– he’s the reason I left the heaven that was Hell. Sort of. It’s more complicated than that, but he was a major factor in the decision.
Me neither. You said you reunited with your family, yes? Well, I can understand how it would be easier to believe it was a dream, but isn’t it better that it happened? Better to believe– no, better to know it happened? You got to talk to them again, know there are no hard feelings.
You’ve met him- could you give me any advice as to what to expect when I meet him? I would prefer not to walk in blind to the situation if it could be helped.
And I’m mildly curious about something. I mentioned I explored Hell, yes? I met this woman on one of my walks, she seemed to get rather upset when I mentioned Alain. She was blonde, carried a knife. Would she be familiar to you? You’ve been in Hell far longer than I, surely you would know more than I would.
It is comforting, yes. I’ve felt guilty for so long about what happened to them; for them to tell me to put aside my guilt and to let myself be happy? I scarcely can contain my tears.
Well, when I met him, mostly he was just… sad. I don’t know how to better describe him. He was rather disappointing. I try not to have high expectations of others before I meet them, but he came from the same family as my sweetheart and he’s dating my closest friend. I don’t mean to sound cruel, but that man needs help, and sometimes the mere thought of him upsets my darling. I don’t know all of the details so of course I’m not saying it’s anyone’s fault, but… I do hate seeing him like that.
I… maybe, actually. I met a woman that fit that description, but only once. [He fumbles in his pocket and pulls a sketch out of his pocket.] I write horror stories, and this is the ghost from one of them, whose appearance was inspired by hers. Of course, I drew her much more decayed than when I met her, but I never forget a face.
Exactly! I’m very happy for you, myself. I certainly know how you felt, though in an opposite situation where I died and my loved one kept living. I’m certain you eased their sorrows, as well.
I’ll keep that in mind! It should be useful if I decide to pay him a visit after all.
[She peers closely at the sketch.]
That’s her! She certainly looks more decayed than when I encountered her, but the experience is too fresh for me to forget her.
Yes, I haven’t forgotten her, either… I don’t make it a habit of interacting with unpleasant people, but oh boy, was she ever one of those people. Our conversation went downhill very fast, and she pulled a knife on me! Where did she get that! So I’m not allowed to have my sword, but she gets to have a whole knife? Oh, well. I don’t like finding myself in positions where I am unarmed, so I’d already fashioned a shiv, and we had ourselves a bit of a fight. Neither of us really “won”, because I managed to inflict a wound on her and run away. Why do you ask?
She was rather pleasant when I first bumped into her, but she turned rather… unpleasant when I mentioned Alain. Pulled a knife on me and everything! I just barely managed to talk her down from attacking me, and made my escape back to Satan the first moment I was able.
I’m rather curious as to her connection to Alain. They share the same last name, so perhaps they’re related?
Hm, yes... That would make sense. I think they looked too different from each other to be siblings, or otherwise blood related... Of course, I looked very similar to my sisters, so who am I to say? Perhaps she’s an ex. He must’ve had at least one of those through the years. I don’t know the situation at all, but they are certainly better apart.
