Looks like it's another warm Christmas in Florida
My 2017 Annual Christmas MOC.
Well, both are a little not true. It's actually going to get up to 70 °F or so on Christmas this year which is better than the week of 80s it has been. And this isn't specifically Christmas, more just winter in general. I've been a little busy now that I finally got a job for at least the seasonal time, but I didn't want to break the tradition so I built this.
And I suppose this might just be a regular thing of making a post on Tumblr once a year. Sorry I haven’t been a better friend and stayed in contact.
Merry Christmas!
I give you my annual Christmas MOC of twenty-sixteen. And with a poem to boot, too? My, now that's keen. :)
T’was another Christmas in Florida, and just like the rest, T’was another hot one, indeed, no need for a sweater vest. And no, there’s never snow as you may have well guessed, The heat keeps that stuff away, it’s all up north, and to the west. Instead of snuggling indoors ‘cause, “Baby, it’s cold out there,” We still stay inside to escape the humidity in the air. “But still, it is Christmas,” as others like to say, “It can’t possibly be bad if it still feels like May!” Well here’s something to chew on if you’re still not convinced! Having Christmas in Florida? I’ll change your mind in an inst! Leaving milk and cookies for Santa? It’s not the best approach; With all the heat, the milk spoils, and sweets can bring a roach. Or ants or even spiders, really, you just shouldn’t do it; They’ll find their way in, even through a cracked conduit. With all those pests in the house, all the wires are frayed! So now all those lights are a danger to the tree that’s displayed. And Florida heat alone can leave everyone’s gifts melted, But with a Christmas tree fire, now they’ll all be left smelted! But Santa does still come by, so maybe he can save the day, Except there’s not many chimneys, so he must go on his way. Too fix all those disasters, there’s just too little left of the night. There’s too many other children left that he must bring delight. So keep this in mind if you’re wishing to be a snowbird Your Christmas will be ruined. Heed what you’ve heard. And yes, family and yadda yadda; true meaning; have no fear… A humbug Christmas to all! Let’s wrap up this crummy year!
Class Photo Didn’t win because of tumblr not wanting to upload my image. But I guess Rachel’s is good, too.

So Cinematic...
A Minifilm This is intended to loop. Right click the video and select loop. The LEGO® Minifigure as we know it has existed since 1978. Just like film, these little plastic people started off very simple, and over the years, they have become more complex, they recycle ideas, and adapt other media into their form. But just like film, no matter how different they may seem today, these minifigures stem from those humble beginnings.
ART!
Project 2: Photography as Performance
I’m an adult! And I don’t have to wait until I'm home to build my LEGO® sets.
As kids, we all have a point where our parents take us to the toy store, but then we can’t play with the toy we get because it’s still in the box, “we’ll lose it before we get home,” or some other reason, but I’m an adult and I am free to embarrass myself in public if I’m passionate enough about what I love. I will go to Downtown Disney, purchase my LEGO sets, build them, and on the way back to the car, pretend that they are in flight, and who is really going to care? Surprisingly, not really that many people. To comment on the photo, I am most pleased that my face has been obscured. It is not important who is doing this, just that it is being done. LEGO products have always been more of an indoor thing. You think about what you do with the bricks, and you picture being inside, typically alone, and the models built stay inside; the notion of it being taken out into the world is only ever seen at LEGO branded places like the stores and amusement parks. So what do people think of a LEGO set being built outside or what do people think of an adult doing that, especially when they don’t know who it is personally?

Yep, that’s my MP3 Player. You should listen to what’s on it.
-_- turned 1 today! That’s the message I got. It’s pretty hysterical given the face I use for my header. He looks so happy about it. Let’s celebrate with some horse music because that’s still cool, right?
Intermediate Photo Final: LEGO Photography (Video)
Our final project in Intermediate Photography was to alter the print. The idea behind this is that images can just be shared online, but an altered print really has to be experienced in person. Naturally, I chose to go nuts with the LEGO stuff again. My idea was to go for some illusions after the print had been altered.
