Evelyn clawthorne’s headcanons. ROMANI EVELYN >>> (Tw a bit of angst)

- Evelyn traveled everywhere across the world since she was really interested in humans and the human realm, learning Greek, Russian, Chinese, Arabic and German

- Out of all her family members, she was the best dancer and most rebellious, not being scared of speaking up against the men of the family

- she lives in the human realm with her family and relatives, she has two sisters and 4 brothers. The oldest sister is 23 (Evelyn is 17, being the 3rd oldest) and the youngest brother who’s only 6 who Evelyn basically raised.

- While going to Caleb and Philip’s town, Caleb immediately fell in love with her while Evelyn did not care about him one bit, when Caleb first found she was a witch, she slapped him and almost beaten him before he said he wasn’t gonna tell anyone which made them friends before actually dating

- While Evelyn was out of the town for a bit, her father and oldest sister got caught being witches which made the town to kill half of her family except for the kids who got sent off to white families since they thought they were stolen cuz they “looked white”. After that, that made Evelyn leave the human realm for good, going back to the boiling isles which Caleb immediately went along with her

- they had 2 daughters and a son on the way but when Philip killed Caleb that made Evelyn have a miscarriage due to the stress and also trying to kill Philip but he ran as soon as he came. Due to that she hid the portal to keep him trapped here and not letting him go until she found him and killed him (which unfortunately she never had the chance to)

I can’t be the only one who thinks that belos, Luz and the collector would be like the best trio ever. (Only if A. Belos wasn’t an asshole or B. Luz joined his side) like especially if it’s titan Luz like they’ll be the strongest trio in the boiling isles. Sure they might be a very toxic team and would def have some trauma bonding (the actual real term) but I still think it’d be interesting

Good news is that I finally gotten into my dream high school for architecture!!!

Bad news is that there’s only 4 Romani kids including me and it’s filled with racists… I ain’t surviving this school. I’m really hoping that me and those kids get to be the same class cuz I’m so fucking cooked.

I genuinely think my brother is going through some self hatred phase or smth cuz tell me why he been quoting trump and saying immigrants should be deported like we ain’t immigrants ourselves. Mf we’re Romani and everytime I tell him he literally just refuses the fact and says he’s Romanian.. whole family is Romani and yet he’s “Romanian”

North Korea isn’t communist. it’s a dictatorship

The other good countries that actually showed what communism is were destroyed by capitalism and the USA. Like what’s going on in Cuba in this MODERN AGE and nobody is talking about it.

Ofc communism isn’t gonna work if the USA and capitalism still exist. Due to Cuba’s ‘evil communist” ideology made the literacy rate from <76% to 96%. Almost entirely ended poverty in the country before the USA screwed them over and much more

It is ironic to be pro Cuba and anti North Korea at the same time, especially considering socialist Cuba and the Cuban revolutionaries have always been explicitly pro North Korea

Not to mention North Korean socialism has brought much of the same progress that Cuba's did, in literacy, living conditions, healthcare, etc

I do understand your point but they still don’t let their people leave the country and has literal forced labor camps for anyone who tries to leave the country ofc I won’t support such a thing despite the government being socialist the people there have little so no rights of their autonomy

There’s a few contact creators who left North Korea and if they get caught they’d either get tortured or killed, I don’t think that’s a good regime at all. The difference between Cuba and North Korea is that Cuba won’t put their own people into labor camps just because they left their country. Sure North Korea does have free healthcare and high literacy rate of 100% but they don’t seem to care about the people if they’re throwing them in labor camps over something as simple as leaving the country without government permission

Okay but that's just not true though. Ignoring how visas and passports pretty much function as "government permission" in all countries, North Koreans do leave the country, usually going to places like Russia and China

I recommend you watch this short documentary about North Koreans trapped in South Korea who wish to return home. The topic of freedom of movement of North Koreans is usually very heavily misrepresented in order to favour the US narrative, and the interviews here do a good job of challenging that narrative
