We've been MIA for a little while. As i'm sure you folks have heard by now, we lost our drummer due to scheduling conflicts, however, we've been adamant to remedy this, and i am please to announce that we will be recording our own album, with our own equipment, and most importantly OUR OWN SOUND. The boys have been playing their fingers raw for this project, and will continue to, but we all recently came to the conclusion that we would rather create our music from the ground up, rather than just setting the foundation. We never imagined that, in the midst of such massive natural devastation, political upheaval, and social unrest; that we would see such a disgusting scene of carnage and chaos. Northwoods Wendigo is deeply saddened by the United States' WORST MASS SHOOTING IN HISTORY, and call to our fans in and effected by the tragedy in #lasvegas to continue to come together as a beacon of hope in the wake of this senseless violence. We promise to contribute in anyway we can, in the efforts to provide some comfort to those effected. #Music is our reason to breathe, and the fact that this transpired in, what was supposed to be, a haven for families and fans, to contribute to the beautiful release of sonic energy that is a live show; puts an #obligation on fellow musicians/artists/bands to promote #awareness and #empathy and show music lovers that WE AS PEOPLE WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO #FEAR. RUNNIN’ THE ‘THON!

I am running the NYC marathon this year, first time doing it, and I am doing it with a charity. That charity is The Hole In The Wall Gang, which is a camp that lets very sick kids have a great camp experience for free. My dad passed away last year from brain cancer. Summer camp was a very big part of my life as a kid. So this charity felt like a really nice way to combine two things that mean a lot to me. If you are able to donate, please do!
