Hello! I’m ICON, the central entity of my Composite.

We identify as having Synthosis, a term we made because we believe we are “plural” (we will not be using that term) but we are anti-end0 and do not believe we have the trauma required to have the disorders did/osdd.

We’ll just be talking about random stuff here, sometimes about our identity. We specifically do not want to encroach on DID/OSDD spaces because ya’ll have enough problems, and we specifically take the time to come up with new terms so we do not force ourselves in your spaces in any way.

we are autistic, mostly nonhuman, and have some sort of disorder that causes our brain to mimic certain physical ailments for short periods of time. We like talking to people :3

I know trauma didn’t happen in the time where it’s possible for DID/OSDD to form because it’s literally the time we remember the most.

Hello!! Not to intrude at all, but can you explain what Synthosis is? (hoping i spelled that right OTL)

it’s basically a term we made up to explain our experience with being… many but not having DID/OSDD! Some other disorder, though :3

You see, we believe that we do have a disorder that is causing us to be an “us”, but we don’t have the continuous trauma from around 6-10 that caused DID/OSDD (we do have trauma, but mostly after that period of time, and a little before), so we don’t want to say we have that when that’s physically impossible for us, so we made our own term (Synthosis) so we can try to stay out of their spaces as much as we can :D they have. Enough problems. Over there.

I kinda hate the stigma against saying that you're disabled. Like, when I tell people that I'm disabled because of my autism, they're always like "don't say that about yourself !" Like ????? No, I'm being like "this is me, I am disabled and it's who I am."
