Are there any NGOs or world organizations able to get into Iran and help currently that people can donate to? Most of the politicians here in the US are preoccupied with other things at the moment, but I'm hoping to attend a rally for the politician I want to vote in for senate, and bring the ongoing crisis in Iran up to at least one person who can make it more known. But other than word of mouth, is there anything else tangible that outsiders can do?

Keep fighting until the last moment, and I hope with all my hear that one day, Khamenei along with other dictators like Putin and Trump will be dead and gone and the Iranian people will be free 🩷🪽

I personally don't know any reliable organization which transfers your donations directly to our people. and if there are any, the government steals your donations and it doesn't help the people at all.

for example: in 2004 Bam earthquakes, the government stole all the international donations such as tents, goods or clothes and left the victims all alone with no home, food, clothes or shelter. many of those people are still homeless.

the best way you can help us is to spread awareness on the social media and again, thank you for your support

(and, Reza Pahlavi is a reliable politician; he's currently leading many big groups of protesters. he's on our side, he speaks on behalf oh the people, and many of us trust him.)

We can advocate for them in our countries.

We can get information to them any way we can on first aid (especially for gunshot wounds and tear gas), on how to survive in moments of scarcity of supplies, and the movements of their adversaries.

Manipulation of information is a tool of repression, and certain websites that may be blocked for them, WE can reach. Advance notice of where forces are attacking hospitals could save a life.

To add to this, the best advocacy is to pressure your governments if you live in the West. Here are some important things:

If they still have diplomatic relations with the regime, have them recall their ambassadors and expel regime ambassadors.

The UK and the EU STILL haven't proscribed the IRGC. Doing this would go a long way in further weakening the regime.

Have them meet with Reza Pahlavi and recognize his plans for fixing Iran once the regime falls.

Shut down groups that support/lobby for the regime so that they don't poison the discourse. (In America, this includes groups like NIAC, the Quincy Institute, and J Street.)

Also pressure the media to accurately represent what's going on in Iran. It isn't protests. It's people fighting against the regime again and trying to overthrow it. Hold them accountable for platforming regime propagandists. (In America, this means calling out news networks for bringing in "experts" from groups like NIAC.)

Finally, try educating or calling out anyone who repeats regime talking points. Someone calls what's happening a CIA or Mossad operation? Put them in their place. Report accounts that downplay what's happening in Iran if the site allows for it as violent event denial. Report accounts that post pro-regime propaganda as supporting terrorism and spreading information, because that's exactly what they're doing.
