bloodloathing being vamps in an argument or something and off handedly throw out "if we are still single in 200 years then I'll marry you you motherfucker" to win the argument or something and then 200 years later they both still remember it and are weirdly close to each other during Oakhurst or something or like. Scott keeps watching legs and disappearing and then legs keeps making excuses to be as close to Scott without talking to him but both of them are just wondering if the other remembers and then also wondering if they actually like this guy enough to marry and it's like. No. Don't we hate each other??? So they're just weird about it until someone picks up on it and calls them out

(and sharing deadhunbrew's contribution to this but lu doesn't use tumblr so I'm just slapping this here)

The argument starting from the idea that there's no one that really understands them the way the other does (and that being a Very Upsetting idea for the both of them)

Being forced to actually talk about it and one of the few things they agree on is that no matter how much they desperately try they can't boil their feelings down towards each other to being nothing but hatred

Like always things are far too complicated when the other is involved

Vsmp au: starting vampires bloodloathing ex-fiances

(Im writing this at 5am lmao)

Scott and legs were engaged for whatever reason between two covens (political alliance, treaty, love match, etc)

But legs, getting cold feet (or whatever it is for a vampire) or getting hit by a wave of (uhhhhh whats the wordddddddd uhhhhh) not-wanting-to-be-hitched disease, abandons him at the alter for realsies. Goes off for however long.

In this scott never takes his nap, he instead goes traveling to forget about his heartbreak because he did actually love legs; the castle stays standing because i support castle rights and wrongs. Legs goes do big man things and joins the military and becomes a doctor and whatevers.

Anyways, oakhurst time: scotts in town chatting away and legs shows up as if he wasn’t expecting scott to be there, yk, despite it being his literal home. And…

Scott: no. No. No no, no.

Scott, pointing at legs: you are not allowed to be here

it's probably important to note that I was trying to portray Louis as Owen sees him, lol. With an almost mysterious smile, he clearly knows more than Owen ever will, he's better than Owen, in the sense of being more perfect, of course. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Tempting even, touching his lips. The version of Louis that exists only in his head.
