Season 4 about college, ends in a shirbert wedding, maybe get a okay ending for my girl Ka’kwet, introduce some new characters (preferably queer ones), maybe delve into deaf/disabled issues (I can’t remember the name of the deaf maid at the boarding house but I feel like she was introduced for a potential story line.) Season ends in a shirbert wedding.

Season 5 about Anne teaching and figuring out how to connect with her students, trying to live up to miss Stacey’s example. (Teaching is HARD,,, you want to be a good teacher but your tired and it can be hard to figure out what each kid needs,,,). Idk what else. I know I hear a lot of people wanting babies for shirbert but... idk I am a firm hater of baby plots in general so cool if that’s your thing but not for me thx

Here’s the thing, girls weren’t allowed to teach if they were married. If they were married than they were having sex and they didn’t want something so “unpure” around their children. They didn’t want someone pregnant to teach their kids, especially not a mother. That’s why Miss Stacey’s husband has died, because if she was married she couldn’t teach. So I think that season 4 will include a time jump over Queens and start next year, with Anne beginning teaching at the Avonlea Schoolhouse, the younger kids since Miss Stacey is still there with the older ones, and exchanging letters with Gilbert who is going into his final year of med school.

Little Bay Islands is the kind of place where you can leave your doors unlocked, go on vacation for three weeks and return to a perfectly undisturbed home. The owner of the only store in town keeps irregular hours, and in his absence leaves a container with coins and wrinkled bills on the counter. Residents take what they need and make their own change.

The tiny island community in Canada’s easternmost province, Newfoundland and Labrador, is home to 54 year-round residents, and more in the summertime.

Most families have been here for generations, subsisting on the once-booming fishing industry.

But on 31 December, electricity and water will be switched off and ferry service discontinued. Little Bay Islands is the latest isolated village to agree to resettle on the mainland as part of the province’s community relocation policy, which offers government compensation to people who leave remote areas.

Two-thirds of Canada’s 37.5 million inhabitants live within 100 kilometres of the country’s southern border with the US, a horizontal strip of land that constitutes just 4% of Canada’s territory. Rural and remote areas in the rest of the country have long struggled to access services like healthcare, utilities and the internet.

Newfoundland and Labrador faces one of the most acute struggles in the country: a rapidly ageing population, spread over a vast area.

NDP is increasing in support but I don’t believe they’ll get high enough to form government (unless the Liberals and Conservatives start bleeding major support solely to the NDP in the next few days), but they can still play a large role in government in a minority parliament.

No, they don’t. Your insistence that they do is nothing but purposeful misconstruing of what bodily autonomy and the reach it has.

Yes, dependents rely on other people’s actions for sustenance. For food, for shelter. Not on their organs. Their actions. Food and shelter are pucks that can be passed, from a parent to another to a relative to the state. Negligence is when this isn’t done.

But in the case of pregnancy, this literally can’t be done. Until we get better incubation technology, but that’s something I’ve never seen prolifers advocate for. Because it’s literally their body being used. How can you compare the use of resource to something literally being inside another body and using their organs? Do you understand the intimacy that pregnancy entails? The medical complications, the physiological affects, how these can last a life time?

Dependents are entitled to their guardians resources and care, and when that isn’t supplied, a change of guardians to ones who meet that standard.

You know what dependents aren’t entitled to? Their bodies. Their organs. Parents aren’t charged with negligence for not donating blood to their children, even if it may end in the child dying. People aren’t charged with negligence for not donating a kidney to a dying grandparent, even if they’re in charge of their care. Because the bodily autonomy of guardians is still recognized. Your example happily seems to ignore any actual obligations of the body, just actions.

Lets go back to the fact that consenting to protected and unprotected consensual sex is consenting to a new body to form inside your own with the responsibility on both side to care for the outcome of protected and unprotected consensual sex- the baby(ies).

Have sex that you consent to? Give as healthy of a birth as physically possible. Either raise the kid or don’t. That child deserves a chance at life just like you did.

Unwanted pregnancy? Neat. That baby is a living organism whether you want it or not.

Consent vs no consent isn’t an argument.
