Given the Tumblr Exodus…

…not much will change for me, really. I used to post here every so often, but I see so many people leaving because of the terms change after the 17th that it’s just as good an excuse as any to indicate that I don’t think I’ll post here anymore anyway. I’m not exactly boycotting the site or deleting anything, nor did I ever really post stuff that went so far out of Tumblr’s TOS that they’re at risk of deletion; rather, with so many people upset and considering moving on, I’d like to bring some of you who follow me here into the fold elsewhere.

Tumblr’s been a wild ride, even when I used it much more often. I remember taking my own page from nearly-shining-professional-polish to starting a slightly PG-13 trend there for a moment, to occasionally seeing stuff I’ve worked on take off in their own posts. It’s a shame Tumblr has made a choice that, while sensical to advertisers, pushes such a huge chunk of their user base out that it becomes more detrimental to their bottom line than just trying to keep things as they were.

I’d love to see you on the other channels on which I more frequently post. If this is the last time I see ya, though, then happy trails, friend. I wish you joy and peace on the journey ahead. 💖

Welp, it’s been fun.

It’s official. Tumblr, after several days of leaving every adult artist in the dark and purging accounts with little to no explanation, finally announced that they’re no longer supporting NSFW content. You can read here.

 I’m not surprised at all. I just wish they made the announcement while they were randomly terminating accounts. I would rather Tumblr be transparent about it and stir less panic. 

As of now, I have a following 36,763. This is the biggest following I’ve ever gotten in my life since I made Flipnotes back in 2010. And I know I’m just a perv who draws pictures for other pervs to jack off too, but I love the art that I make and I’m always excited to make art in general. It’s shitty, yeah. This site has a great posting format, and I got my start here 2 years ago. But it’s just a platform. Tumblr didn’t take away my ability to draw. I’m still going to make a shit ton of content. This is just one less platform I have to manage. I have other pages and I encourage you guys to branch out as well.

My Website: It’s not really interactive, but this is where I host all of my comics and updates.

Newgrounds: I’ve always been a lurker of sorts on this site growing up, I’ve seen it grow to be a really creator friendly site. I think it’s a proper site for artists as opposed to a general platform that lets you post art. Plus they’ve always liked porn so ayy.

Twitter: This is my most active platform. I post my art here before anywhere else. 

Furaffinity: My least active page, but if you happen to have an FA I guess you can give me a watch. Don’t expect much though.

The blog might not get nuked, but all the NSFW content will be hidden, only I will be able to see it, according to tumblr guidelines.
