Im obsessing over the various pockmarks. I wonder if its just a flaw due to age and wear or a sharp attention to detail and realism?

Me and this tree beside my apartment seem to have a symbiotic relationship. I always make it a tradition to befriend a nearby tree everywhere I move. I have spent about a year here and have slowly built a relationship with it. Sitting under it when I'm overwhelmed and just speaking to it. Or sitting against it, spine to bark, meditating and connecting to its energy. A few nights ago I sat under it and asked it to protect me and my home and to bless it with its energy. I went out to visit it today and lo and behold! It gave me a wand!
