You know what the best part about this is? the LL protected lands. particularly, the large expanses of Ocean. There are so many areas dedicated to nothing but water, that teleporting to these locations is relatively common. there’s lots to explore, mind, but all the same... look at all this... nothing.
this is the weird shit that I’m in to.
First on the agenda is ABC Events - “ABC Race Track”. It’s a race track for horses! nothing more, nothing less. there are stands, and a stable to look at, but otherwise, it’s pretty cut and dry what this is for.
Next is Abel Island. there’s a smiley face reading off the cock and ball torture wiki article. nice. that is one of the only two landmarks on this G rated island.
Finally, Abigail - “Eliora”. It’s a castle! it’s really cool, and very expansive!
It is also, unfortunately, completely unfurnished.
Welcome to Abandoned Paradise! we have two locations here.
First up is Hooker Wives Safe Place. It’s... a glass house. Not much going on here.
Next up was Fantasy Weddings& Hide Away! This was a beautiful location as the name implies, it’s a wedding locale. plenty of waterfalls, and hidey holes. the horses there are a little... primmy, specifically the more static ones. still, lovely place. though it could use a little updating and TLC.
So I’ve been trying really hard not to combine two sims into one post. but the next two didn’t offer... much. Up first is “AAA”. now, you may recognize that name from my first run. and unsurprisingly, it’s still kinda..... dull? It’s another sim that’s broken off into several parcels. may of which are homesteads. and the few that aren’t?
we have a pink café floating in a void, and a bar *also* floating in a void.
Next is Abandoned. or “~Lickopolis~ home of the wagging tongue~”. it’s a voice lounge for all your sexy voice verified needs~
It was empty when I went in (thank goodness) save for one person who I don’t think even noticed my existence. the city was the most interesting part of my visit. the club itself? Eeeeh....
Welcome to 5wa6r, also known as “No Mans Land”! it appears to be a combat sim, complete with health and respawns. there appears to be several boards attached to the place. It looks really cool, but it’s all fairly one-note. there is a neighboring Sim called Laussanne, which seems to serve the same purpose. traveling between the two is possible through a set of stairs, if a little buggy. at a glance though, the first thing that pops in my head is a Warhammer 40k themed game, so hey! if you and some buddies wanna go at it, give it a shot!
Made it to 4seasons! there’s a lot to talk about with this sim. it’s broken into a number of parcels, each owned by someone different, and offering different sights to explore and experience.
The first place I visited is Unreal-Island. it was nice and decked out for spooky-month, as fog coated the land and three skeletal dogs leap for you upon spawning in! A lot of work was put into this place, and I feel like it’s a great place for anyone to check out for a bit of spoop! there were a few less scary places that explorers could go in Unreal-Island. and while they didn’t offer the same feel, they were pretty in their own right.
Next up was Black&White
A themed Café. It sound like they cycle through themes, but the Halloween theme was a treat to find! an eerie door in the middle of a lake leads you to a spiraling staircase leading on almost as if to go nowhere. at the top you’re greeted with yet another door. opening it, you’re transported to a room, before being unceremoniously dropped into what looks like a magical café. books hover in the air, and the place almost seems surreal!
It was cute. it was small and cozy, with plenty of seating! though the presentation for getting there was real top notch, I was expecting... more? It looks like it’s run by a Japanese user, however, so be mindful. there was plenty more to explore on the sim. there was what looked to be a fashion show that I couldn’t get into to save my life, and a japanese Temple. Definitely not a wasted trip!
last one for the day~!
We made it to Valley of Dreams, located on “3aQLyN”. A cozy cottage-like area with a number of hidey holes for lovers to get together and... cuddle. It also features a working pool table, and a couple arcade cabinets that are *supposed* to work, but I never figured out how to get it to run properly....
Be warned, this *is* a moderate rated sim. don’t know what that entails for the creator, but be mindful.
All in all though, it’s a cute little sim. and one people looking for a quiet escape may come to love!
Oh, and the cave? you can totally bone in there.
how come *we* don’t get clubs like this??
Welcome to Dark Side, located on “1Italy”! honestly, I almost passed this sim up. most of it is residences, and a shop. but on a whim, I went back, and did some more ‘sploring! What we have is a club themed around Rock. it’s very industrial in its appearance, and it honestly looks really cool! It is a russian club however, and it seems mostly to cater to human avis. I’m a bit out of my element here, but that’s the price you pay when you ‘Splore Secondlife
If you’re a Russian Speaker with a love for Rock and Roll, totally check this place out!
Welcome to Serendipity Cove Homestead, Located on “0 0 Adorable”.
Another historic RP sim with a strict dresscode. So I had to cam around here too. Set in 1870′s Washington, it’s an absolute treat to look at in a number of areas! with it not being around during my first pass, I’d argue that this would have to be a relatively newer sim. So while my furry ass may not be allowed in, I’d still recommend giving it a look-see, especially if historic RP is your cup of tea!
Our first destination is the 1920s Berlin Project!
Designed to make a near-perfect replica of the city of Berlin! they feature a *strict* dress-code. So while I wasn’t able to enter in my furry state, I was able to cam around and take some lovely shots of the area! Just like the last time I was here, it’s very well done! it definitely gives off the feel of the 1920s!
The dress-code’s a bit of a bummer. it’d be nice to more freely explore the place. but hey, what’cha gonna do.
Hoo boy, it’s been a while.
Well everyone, I’m still alive. some personal issue got in the way of me getting back into SL, and as a direct result, maintaining this blog. I do intend for this blog to continue; and while a couple of things may change, especially in terms of how I get places and where I go, I *fully* intend on continuing my journey through SL. It’s been a good while since I did some good ol ‘Sploring though, so we’re starting from the beginning! I’ll try to avoid repeats, but a lot has changed since my last post, and I’m looking forward to seeing it!
Aggramar! it looks like it came straight out of Hotline Miami!
Not much else to say about it.
it has a store.
I just like the aesthetic.
Hey, look! Texas A&M again!
Haven’t been here in a while! That’s sorta the disadvantage of places that expand past multiple sims. you’re bound to see ‘em more than once in these sorta trips.
I don’t want to say that it’s updated since I’ve last seen it, because, really, it hasn’t. I was just on a different part of the campus.
I mean, it looked nice, still. Primm-Train looks infinitely better than Primm-bird, so that’s a plus. Evidently, the campus is still -sorta- active, given the fact that they apparently hosted classes in 2017. so that’s nice.
I said it once a loooong time ago, but I’ll say it again. I honestly feel like something like this is a wonderful idea. I wish that more colleges would embrace the idea of virtual campuses, and not the shitty “webpage and forum” versions. It’s arguably more personal, and promotes actual socialization and discussion, versus the forums where it feels forced for most of it.
Welcome to Agapema~!
Honestly, I don’t do too many posts about stores.... especially when I actually do posts *shrugs*
but this one caught my attention. it had an amusement park attached to it, in addition to a pool area! very fancy!
Shame that everything was “full bright, and just a horrible primm-mess in the park.
Pools looked nice, but really? you can’t fuck up an innertube.
I know, it sounds like I’m being harsh. and I’m sorry.
Region is home to the store called “Zest” that looks like it specializes in plants.
Another to add to the collection
Dungeon Crawl (also, some news)
The focus of this blog may be changing, ever so slightly. While I will still attempt to explore the entirety of SL, I will also be uploading my Photoshop projects here. I will also see about plopping my NSFW stuff somewhere, but we shall see.
