SEMI-HIATUS NOTICE

this is 100% expected, alright.  so i’m in stage crew for my school musical and i actually have a pretty important role in it, i’m one of the more responsible members so i have a lot of the weight of it on my shoulders. with the show coming up in a week, everything is in major crunch time and i don’t get home until late every night so i’m just not getting time to do anything i want to. thus, i’m being forced to put my beloved muses on a semi hiatus. :(  i’ll still be on when i get the chance, and i should return full-time by march tenth. this applies to alxssia , exxosso , patientiia , malfcygirl , and hcstiajoncs

zach doesn’t like to tell people, but he really does love his housemates. there’s not many people willing to be friends with him, and yet these { idiots } stick around. they make him feel less lonely. he does this thing where he takes photos sometimes and keeps them in one place. not like that creevey kid did — that was just creepy. but a group of memories he can store away.

Hannah offered Susan a small smile, reaching up to brush a gentle hand across her forehead. “Just sleep, Susie,” she said softly. “Close your eyes and relax, I’ll get you all fixed up.”

She cleaned the wounds out meticulously and then bandaged them, keeping a careful eye on Susan. Ever the optimist, Hannah reasoned that this would keep Susan out of the line of fire for at least two weeks, and she felt a small knot untie in her stomach when she considered that, for two weeks, she would be able to keep Susan out of harm’s way.

After her friend was bandaged up, she leaned over and pressed a soft, platonic kiss to Susan’s forehead. “I’m going to grab you some clean things. Stay put,” she told the other girl, standing and hurrying over to Susan’s cot, returning with some clean, comfortable clothes.

"Alright Susan?" she asked softly, careful to be quiet in case her friend had fallen asleep.

"I'm t-trying." she murmured, though closed her eyes obediently. It was difficult to sleep nowadays anyway, how was she supposed to sleep with this now-lazily bleeding wound still throbbing in a dull sort of painful way.

Susan nodded a little bit without looking up, assuming Hannah would be on her way with or without any response from the redhead. Instead she just stared at the ceiling, allowing the pale, faded colors to all blend together before her wearied eyes. Susan Bones had never been a stranger to pain but it seemed that this past year had only held pain. Of course Auntie had died gone. The year prior, but every day the girl felt the absence more and more. And now Justin was gone and things at school were far from simple or pleasurable or even bearable. It was life or death now, every day. 

It was difficult to accept that whenever she stepped foot out of the Room of Requirement, she might not come back alive. Sometimes she didn't come back whole. It was wrong. It's not supposed to happen this way. We're just kids.

But that wasn't true. Not anymore. 

She winced a tiny bit at Hannah's abrupt return but nodded gently, smiling gratefully up at her friend, "You're an angel, d'you know that?"
