👁️ Hello Phandom 👁️

I really had myself convinced for a few weeks that I didn’t have enough to say about Phandom to make a video. Well. That was not correct. I do have a lot of thoughts actually.

But as someone who never participated in the tumblr fandom, I’m also curious to hear from other people!! If you have any interesting anecdotes from the heyday of Phan here on tumblr (or even other sites) I would love to hear them in the replies and reblogs of this post! Anything that strikes you as particularly weird years later? Behaviours in the fandom that you liked / didn't like? Key things you would want outsiders to the fandom to understand about it? Emotions you're feeling about phan in fact being real?

this isn’t to do with the heyday of the phandom at all, and i can’t say too much, but there’s a certain tourist attraction that has become almost an icon in the phandom thanks to a recent video. i work there, and the day they visited and filmed was my one day off that week. i haven’t slept well since i received that message from my colleague. this doesn’t say anything about the culture of the phandom but it does get a lot off my chest.
