2020 with a BANG!

I hope that this year is the year that changes for u. I hope that u learn how to love urself again and fight for u because u deserve it more than anything in the world. You deserve all the self-care that you can give to urself. Be bold to pursue your passions, be exceptional in the field and craft that u wished to pursue. Start to believe in urself again. Love again. Live with your eyes wide open. Look for opportunities in every angle. Capture those small details, those are what really matters. But most especially, be true to u, you owe it to urself.

K: Hey, what's up? Are you ok? You've been gone MIA lately.

H: Sorry. It's just, I don't understand anymore. Do you get that feeling of just.. i mean you're like living but you're not. I don't get it. I can't shake this feeling, K. It's just so hard. I just don't know, K. Everything is messed up.

K: You know you can tell me anything right?

H: It's just.. I feel crazy. I mean, I have you, I have a job, I have everything I need and I don't want to sound ungrateful or something but WHY DO I FEEL DEAD IN THE INSIDE? K, I can't understand. I feel like I'm walking in this straight line the fuck knows for how long and I don't have any fucking idea where I'm going. Just crazy right?

Searching for love

Why can’t I find love like everyone else? Why can’t I find deep meaningful relationships? Why is it that every people that I get in contact with leaves me in the end? Is there something wrong with me? I don’t know what to think anymore..

I’ve been working on being more conscious of how I write emails, and made this handy printable guide! I have a bad habit of overusing exclamation points, emojis, and qualifiers like “just” and “possibly” to sound extra-friendly and non-threatening in emails. (“Just wondering / just confirming / just checking / just making sure / just wanted to let you know”)
You are allowed to take up space. Your voice deserves to be heard. Your opinions matter. You don’t need to apologize for existing or asking for what you need. You are not “bossy” or “bitchy” for not sounding like a pep-machine 24/7.
If you act like a doormat, you better develop a taste for shoe leather. You have power too. I wanted to talk to you again. For the last time. I wanted to get everything straight with you. I don’t want you to think that I was merely playing time with you. You were good to me god knows you’re the sweetest guy I’ve ever known. But man, the me back then, was scared. She was a coward and insecure. But you, you deserve so much better, you have a really beautiful soul. If I was a lot stronger back then, then maybe I could have fought together with you. 

Thank you for the late night talks and all those voice messages. I always keep them close to my heart. Even when we are separated by an ocean between us, you make it feel like it’s not. You make me wish for so many things that could happen if it’s not. Thank you for your advises you don’t know how many times it’s saved me. But most especially, thank you for being you, thank you for being real even at times when I’m not, for being funny when I had bad days, and thank you for opening your heart your heart to a stranger like me. 

If fate is with us, in another time, then maybe then, it will be right and I won’t have to hold myself back. But until when fate allows us to, I hope that you live an amazing life you deserve.

I am so thankful for you and for all the times we shared and for teaching me so much I wouldn’t have known alone. And if destiny won’t allow us to meet again, remember this: you will always have a piece of my heart.
