Games take years to develop, and Sylvanas has been on this path a long time. Like… since Wrath, when I started. No, it’s not a copy. Especially considering the violently different content. I might be salty about BFA, but it’s gross to suggest Shadowlands is a copy/ripoff, and disrespectful to those who worked hard on both games.
Just because ‘shadow’ is in the name doesn’t make it a copy, and it’s ignorant to suggest, if you’ve actually looked at the content in both games.
This is just silly. This stuff is plannyed out YEARS ahead.
Also, Blizzard already tried to ‘compete’ by releasing 8.2 around Shadowbringers. But that’s it. That’s just market competition. Not ripping shit off.
Yeah…the story hints got BIG in Legion, and content creators have been predicting this expansion since then. But sure, this is somehow a ripoff…despite obviously being in development for several years?? :/
