Trans Liberation Now

For those of you who don't know, the UK Court just ruled that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex. Effectively, it is now impossible for a trans woman to be recognised as a woman under the law. The further implications of this could be far worse but only time will tell.

Now, normally, I like to treat politics much in the same way as the Devil: speak only in metaphor and never address directly. However, as a trans woman in the UK myself, I did feel a need to address this directly. This is a blatant attack on trans rights, obviously, but unfortunately it goes beyond that. What the UK Court has effectively done is both stopped all Trans Women from transitioning legally, while also opening the door for further transphobic laws.

The term "transition legally" might not make much sense, and it doesn't, but my understanding is that, due to this ruling, everyone who was born male must now have that on their legal identification: passports, driver's licenses, death certificates. It might also mean that trans women won't be able to change our names to feminine names anymore, though that might just be me being paranoid. Then again, can you blame me?

Make no mistake, they will not stop here. The "Gender-Critical Movement" will not be satisfied until all trans people are dead. Not detransitioned, not converted or sent away: dead. If you are a trans person in the UK, the best thing you can do right now to spite them is to keep living, keep fighting, never surrender, never let them win.

Look at their faces and tell me that they are anything but sadists, smiling as they undo what decades of activism have fought tooth and brick for.
