so um. this post by @stinkrascal really got me thinking about my experience on simblr and how truly unmotivated i am to maintain my blog.
i still love the sims, i truly do, but i think i’m slowly phasing into the next part of my life. i don’t come home from errands and stuff or finish my schoolwork just to boot up my computer and play sims. it’s still a very important part of me, but i’m at a point where i need to start thinking about real life issues like my college situation.
coupled with the lack of true community within simblr, i don’t find myself very excited to check my notifications or even log in to this account. aside from actual adult responsibilities like thinking about the future, i’ve also started playing other games to fill my free time, and i’d love to post about those games on this blog, but i feel like i’m not allowed to because i’ve branded myself as a sims blog.
so i guess i’m gonna just finally do what makes me happy. i’ll still be on tumblr, and i think i’m going to keep this url, but i want to start over and try not to limit what i post to a certain game or fandom. i’ll reblog this post once i’ve decided on a url for the new blog (i have one more idea i’m contemplating) and i’d love it if you would follow me on that new blog if you want to stay up to date with me and the games i play
edit: you can find me over at @faeriecirce
