i feel like a lot of mcu tony fans want him 2 b a perfect person but hes not.. very often, hes in the wrong and hes doing the bad thing because he believes it to be the good thing. he like desperately wants to be a good person, he wants the world to be safe and he believes (bc hes a genius) that whatever it is he's deciding, is the correct thing that'll b best 4 the world/whoever hes making the decision for. hes self loathing and hes incredibly lonely and he loves to push people away. he wants to help but he usually ends up hurting people.

i just dont understand the obsession w/ ppl wanting to portray him as correct all the time. hes lowk a boyfailure n thats beautiful

I don't really self-promo often but considering all the talk about human Lestat/vampire Louis I figure I should mention that I wrote an entire AU fic that starts out with that premise. It's more of a fledgling Lestat/maker Louis AU ultimately but I think it has some of the same elements.

Anyway, I consider this fic my best work and I'm really proud of it. So if anyone is interested, here's a link to read the full (finished!) thing.

Paul is in college in this AU, he’s studying to be a teacher. He’s not very active on any social media and had originally only gone on Twitter to block John (and the rest of the Quarrymen) out of drunken spite but had stopped when he read John’s bio. Now his account is dedicated to pissing on the Quarrymen whenever he goes to the Cavern. Most of his followers are friends from college.

George plays guitar and works at Brian’s music shop. Brian still manages The Quarrymen and George actually wants to join before learning of Paul’s very strict dislike of them. He’ll still join if he ever gets asked but he’s sure pretending not to care out of respect for Paul’s plight. George used Twitter relatively often but his account got banned out of the blue so he made a new one and has decided to staunchly stay private.
