It was very rare that this girl would cry, especially in front of people. but this time was a necessity. Her favorite book, the one she had planned on renting for the 63rd time, was now being rented by another person.
Oh God who resides in heaven…WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME DAMMIT WHAT DID I EVER DO WRONG?! AND DON’T PRETEND YOU CAN’T HEAR ME I KNOW FOR A FACT YOU EXIST IF CHRONOS AND THAT BLASTED VAMPIRE DO!!
A library had seemed like a good place to start- most didn’t exist in the real world, back in her place, mostly all virtual libraries, but they looked like this one. But tangible. On her last visit, she had spent hours looking for any book that seemed like it had come from her world- but there were too many, and not enough hours in the day. On this visit, George hoped to read about this world, the one she’d been transported to. Somehow.
One problem- crying girl. Crying girls were not her specialty.
“So, why are you crying? Didn’t figure there was really any book worth crying over.”
