We all have a story and this is mine:
Lucifer Anthony Stark was born to eccentric billionaire and tech genius Henry Stark and his trophy wife Annabelle. The two hadn’t really wanted children but Henry needed someone to inherit the business and when he found out it was a boy he rejoiced, until Lucifer (then simply named “Anthony”) was five and they realized that he was much more musically inclined than he was interested in the family business. His father fought with him his entire life, but the more they did, the more Lucifer rebelled until finally, as a cruel joke and punishment for being such an embarrassment, then “Anthony Stark’s” name was legally changed to “Lucifer Anthony Stark.” This happened when Lucifer was about 12. Instead of being shamed by it Lucifer owned it like a suit of armor and it slowly began to grow on him. He attended college, majoring in business and minoring in vocal performance as well as piano. His father thought that he had turned around, BUT it was a facade. About the time he graduated college his mother died in a car crash that his father miraculously walked away from with a few bumps. As soon as Lucifer knew that he was written into his father’s will as the sole inheriter of the entire family fortune, Lucifer’s father died of a heart attack. There were trace elements of a strange foreign substance found, but it was deemed inconclusive and the cause of death was major cardiac arrest. Lucifer had his father’s business, but he didn’t keep it. He sold it off to the highest bidder, doubled his fortunes and moved to Fairhope, Alabama and opened his own premier nightclub “The Inferno.” It was an instant hit, and he’s stayed there ever since.
