The State of Qatar announced a complete agreement on all the details, and said that the ceasefire would be implemented on Sunday, then postponed until Monday.

It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in Gaza; with no food, no medicine, no clean drinking water; with oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts, and daily traumas caused by everything around us and inability to care for loved ones. the fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us🍉🫶
Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my children, by getting us out of Gaza or helping us have money for medication or other necessities we may have access to. Asking for help is not easy, but we were left with no choice because we want to survive and we strive to rebuild our broken lives. My name is mahmoud mohammed jaafar jaafar i studied computer engineering and graduated from university in 2023 i worked as a software engineer in a local company here in gaza unit the war started, then the company got destroyed and became unemployed and our house is destroyed partially and became inhabitant to live in but nevertheless we stayed in it because we do not else to go i currently live in north gaza where is a scarcity of food and i have 3 brothers and 4 sister one of them died while he was trying to find food for the family so i am the eldest in my family now i have to provide a living for them

It says a lot that even when you have a supposedly progressive crew, we're surprised that a Black female main character ( Annette in this case ) was actually treated like a main character and given character development and was a part of the main story instead of her arc happening away from the main story. I'm writing this without spoiling the plot.
I literally expect nothing when I see any Black female character as a main character. I expect there to only be downs and struggles and nothing else
They managed to portray teen love ( they're teenagers or like 20 right?) In a realistic way that wasn't cringey
I am right with you because the first post I made about nocturne on here was being surprised that they showed us her mourningedouard. Like I was legitimately shocked we got her backstory 2 episodes into knowing her. And then they kept doing things with her backstory and not shoving her to the side as soon as Richter got his powers back
Ceasefire or not, families in Gaza still have a long, long way ahead of them. Israel made sure the majority of homes, infrastructure, agricultural land, medical facilities - are all destroyed.
Mothers like Noor will still need funds to get her son the treatment he desperately needs. And families like Amal's are still going need support as they continue to live in a cold tent since their home was destroyed.
Our support is still very much needed. We should take part in helping families navigate the aftermath of this devastation, to pick up and rebuild. Please donate and keep spreading the word.
It’s wild to me to see transvestigator conspiracy theories online that could be so easily explained by natural human variation. That woman has a deep voice? Yeah, sometimes they do. A woman has broad shoulders?? Maybe she plays rugby or hits the gym a fuckton. There’s a “bulge” in her tight pants?? Maybe her vulva is just fat. All the “markers” of trans woman that transvestigators use to harass any woman aren’t even things unique to trans women.
Transphobes talk about women like they’re Barbies. Have you forgotten the existence of cameltoe? Tiny boobs? Narrow hips? Broad shoulders? Why do you think choirs have altos and not just sopranos? What do you think female athletes look like? Do you think a woman that lifts weights and plays contact sports will look like a 90s supermodel? At what point in history did we collectively forget that human bodies have natural variability???
You know what I don't anticipate? When the borders of Gaza are finally open to foreign journalists and all of a sudden people around the world including western media are "shocked" because they just "didn't realise things were that bad" as if Palestinians on the ground, journalists or not, didn't actually and literally sacrifice their lives documenting this genocide. Even little kids resorted to picking up their phones and recording the horrors they were witnessing for 15 months straight. There was by no means any lack of documentation or evidence. You just didn't trust the source because of your unchecked racism.
We gotta do something about the Egyptian government's extortion scheme now that the crossing is opening again. The cost to leave should be significantly reduced now.
