Lauren Graham made a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (see the video under the cut) to announce the title of Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival, which will be called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

The show will return in the form of a miniseries of four ninety-minute episodes, each new episode takes place during a different season in one calendar year. Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki and Yanic Truesdale are all confirmed to reprise their roles.
