THIS  WASN’T  HOW  HE  WAS  EXPECTING  THIS  GAME  TO  END.          but  really  ,  who  was  he  to  complain  ?           they’d  found  ALCOHOL  --------  the  holy  grail  ,   really.         there  wasn’t  much  -----  just  enough  for  the  two  of  them.          hunting  had  come  up  with  next  to  nothing  to  offer  to  the  group.         it  was  louis’  idea  to  explore  some  more  --  why  head  back  with  nothing  &  face  the  misfortune  so  early  ?         the  day  was  still  young  !         who  knew  teachers  kept  flasks  in  their  desks  ?          he’d  taken  two  out  &&  managed  to  convince  aasim  to  have  one  afternoon  of  not  being  disappointments.           the  boat  house  was  safe  enough  to  hide  out  in  for  a  while. 

❛   oh  come  on  !          you  can’t  be  THAT  bad  of  a  kisser.         i  highly  doubt  anyone  around  here  is  SKILLED  at  it  anyway.        we  were  all  fetus’  when  we  came  to  this  place.   ❜          his  cheeks  are  so  warm  ;  what  a  lightweight  he  turned  out  to  be  !          the  other  had  mentioned  how  ruby  wouldn’t  want  to  kiss  him  because  of  how  bad  he’d  probably  be  at  it.         louis  was  certainly  not  about  to  let  his  lovely  friend  talk  down  about  himself  !

the  alcohol  has  completely  thrown  out  his  inhibitions  ;  not  that  he  had  a  TON  of  those  to  begin  with.         he  feels  the  others  hands  come  to  cup  his  face  ,  so  one  hand  moves  to  cup  one  of  aasim’s  hands.        he  presses  closer  ,  halfway  putting  himself  onto  the  others  lap.          he’s  not  even  attempting  to  quiet  the  little  noises  he  makes.         zombie  apocalypse  or  not  ,  he  liked  getting  what  he  wanted  while  also  being  a  SHOWOFF.           it’s  obvious  louis’  has  had  practice.          NO  GIRLFRIENDS  ,  sure.        he’d  never  said  a  word  about  guys.

   HE HAD REQUESTED THIS.   perhaps a little too insistent with the quick snap like a terrier guarding his bone when questioned, and informed of the danger of such a tiny group going outside the gates, he wanted it to just be him and lou out here doing the hunting round while he made something up about a task as simple as water gathering and wood chopping ( that took two at most ) needed more hands.   by now, some simply just go with it while others ( not naming one in particular ) gives him a raised brow and upturned lip.    the stress was getting to him, he needed the air.   he needed louis.

   only more was to add when the traps came up almost empty, aside from the one rabbit that hadn’t gotten smart like the rest of the rabbits had and gotten the hell out of dodge and wouldn’t end up in omar’s stew.   in amidst his thoughts, he could feel louis’s hands brush the side of his making the tough skin tingle, his fingers often responded to the tease and their ends of their fingers would catch, like two hooks caught and he would tug them free, not out of irritation but rather an invitation to a game of catch.   at his words, marlon reaches up to scratch the back of his neck.    sheepish?      he doubted a smile would improve how he looked, face flushed with promise of a new breakout and  a few red spots at the chin from him scratching open while he mused and stressed over new mappings for hunting grounds.                     ❝   –     jus’ hungry.   ❞   but so was everyone else, and he was going to have to face the disappointment of lack of meat again, frustrations as well will burn just as much as the bonfire.

                            ❝   –    think any day they’re gonna throw me in the stew.  ❞   he doesn’t wonder, he knows his school well enough   a small view of his anxiety but he doesn’t let it show for long, like someone shutting the curtains to the living room.   his pinky then catches louis’s ring, and instead of pulling it lingers for a moment, a need for support… assurance.   he SNORTS, then his fingers pull away and inviting them for another round.   he was smiling now as he shakes his head.

❛   man  ,       nobody  else  here  could  do  half  the  shit  you  do.    ❜          he  shakes  his  head  as  he  looks  forward.        the  idea  of  anyone  stressing  him  out  was  upsetting  ;  but  ,  he  can’t  blame  them.        it  was  frustrating  when  they  were  without  food.         the  farther  the  safe  zone  crept  in  ,  the  more  often  louis’  stomach  growled  in  desperation.          marlon  was  doing  his  best.        he  trusted  him.         

a  deep  breath  is  taken  as  he  looks  around.        it  was  a  nice  day.       they  hadn’t  run  into  any  trouble.       ALL  WAS  WELL  FOR  ONCE.        ❛   i  don’t  doubt  everything  is  gonna  be  fine.         you  know  you’ve  got  me  to  bounce  ideas  off  of.      ---------  &&  trust  me  ,  i  won’t  go  easy  on  ya.   ❜
