Artwork I created for The Junkie Twins (@thejunkietwins) for their new single “Virtual Anxiety.” I used a mix of felt tip pen, watercolor and digital techniques.
We've all been spending a lot of time on our phones, especially this year as a way to connect. But I also resonate with the darker parts of what too much screen time does to my mental health, and taking a break is needed. This song reminds me of this although it can be interpreted in so many ways!

It was an honor to rejoin creative forces with @thejunkietwins, designing their latest single cover for Idolism [unfinished] which releases today on @spotify!
LISTEN HERE: http://spoti.fi/2BMRS2g This song represents the idea of how, in this digital age of social media, we can so easily get lost in the idolization of others that we lose sight of our own inner light. If we don’t let go of this attachment it could ultimately destroy us – but who are we? And what part of “we” does our ego play? Idolism [unfinished] conjures a never ending stream of questions to ponder, conversations to have with anyone who has spent a good chunk of time crafting an identity on social media. I appreciate you taking a listen!

One of the worst side effects of being quarantined? Moving less but eating the same which led me to feel out of shape rather quickly. I was inspired to use my handy dandy Apple Watch to the max and these were the results!

"It's wise never to ask another for what you want.
No, don't ask me.
No, not even yourself.
Just give thanks, in advance. As if you already had whatever it is the "old-you" would have asked for.
Oh, and by the way, thanks (in advance) for loving every fiber of your supernatural self, as much as I do."

I think one of the reasons heartbreak is so painful is because one of the resons you were attracted to that person is because you wanted to integrate an aspect of them within yourself. When you miss out on that chance it feels like you've lost a piece of your future identity, even though the truth is the feeling they gave you was a feeling you generated within yourself while connecting to source. Everything we admire in others we have the power to integrate and experience within ourselves.
