Like. really fitting for both of them, and a few others, but I have no idea how to make those.

Op, if may I also add on the oh so many possibilities of the group ™️ encountering an actual Prophet

Instead of a song fic, imagine if you will:

(This will be set after Cale slayed the White Star)

As Cale learnt previously, the book he once read doesn't apply anymore. So thus when he learned that there's a self-proclaimed prophet somewhere in the Eastern parts, he was surprised but did not believe it at first. He's curious, and as they say the Curiosity killed the cat but knowledge brought it back. (And the children are curious and excited about potentially meeting a person who can see into the future, Sue him for giving into their cuteness)

If this so called prophet actually existed, why did they come out now? Of all times? Where were they when White Star and Arm were going around and causing chaos? Questions for later... Nevertheless, this isn't a big matter, Cale brought the only Eruhaben, Raon, Ron, and Choi Han with him (as it could easily turn to be some random person just playing with magic, they didn't expect to actually meet someone with the magic of foresight). (don't ask me why I chose them, I got no clue, they're the first ones that came to my mind)

You can imagine the setting however you want, I'm not most of the creative people, but we can go classic and take inspo from the Odisey and say this guy lived in a barely decorated cave or something. The walls decorated with random sketches with charcoal (for extra dramatic-ness, cus why would they use a pen like a normal person when they're not /j) that give off a weird, yet slightly creepy vibe.

They looked like pictures of random moments in time that the group didn't understand. Possibly random snippets that came to them while using the power that they suddenly aquired (blame GoD)

Now. I'm a huge enjoyer of Identity reveal fics, and unfortunately I'm still on the cp 358 of the novel so I don't know it all but I was spoiled quite bit, and thus I know that Choi Han knows about Kim Rok Soo but I'm not sure about anyone else (other than Alberu, but idk just how much he knows)

SO. Basically, stay with me on this, when they meet the so-called-Prophet, they start asking few questions to confirm that their power is 💯 a real thing and not some fake news. And as it turns out, it is a real thing! Surprising as it is, and as it turns out, they can also see the glimpses of someone's past.

Cake just didn't expect that they could see into his past life and lay it bare for everyone to see. His recruitment by the Team Leader, the Apocalypse happening, Rok Soo's death and revival to this world and so so!

I just might write a fic, who knows? Happy New Years!!

The way they all work with any of the lyrics. I'm shaking. Like.

All of it to tell the story of someone who lived, died, and lived again to change the world around them and to save their loved ones, but at a very high cost. I could write essays and draw diagrams about all of it. But I can't animate

Cale isnt a cuddler.

He never had toys to fall asleep with, he couldn’t snuggle up to his parents after the accident and he certainly couldn’t with his uncle, and he was, most often, barely comfortable when he slept anyway.

So when the apocalypse arrived, he was the perfect person when it came to sleeping.

He didn’t move around, he didn’t snore, and he had already gotten used to falling asleep on shitty surfaces!

Jung Soo described it as eery, with the way that Rok Soo would get into a position to fall asleep and then he would stay that way for the rest of the night. His chest barely rose and fell, and on more than one occasion Soo Hyuk had woken him up because they were afraid he wasn’t breathing. Thankfully he has always been a light sleeper, so just moving around nearby would be enough to startle him awake.

They tried having a buddy system where they would sleep next to Rok Soo, “for his safety” but he would refuse and find some private place to cram himself into to sleep, scaring them even more. They tried to trick him multiple times, but Rok Soo never fell for it.

He allowed it one time.

It was a cold night, and Jung Soo was too tired from fighting monsters that they couldn’t get back to their company before nightfall.

Jung Soo had been barely coherent, grasping onto Rok Soo as he had been temporarily blinded by a poison grade 2 monster.

He refused to let go of Rok Soo, and so he gave in. He laid on the ground, curled up to Jung Soo, and pretended to be asleep.

He used his record ability intermittently throughout the entire night. It got cold enough to snow, and so Rok Soo had to be the fire for the time.

He never told Jung Soo he stayed up to keep him warm.

But that doesn’t matter.

Because now he’s Cale Henituse. He’s trash. He can sleep anywhere and at any time, but he demands a bed because he can. He demands comfort and warmth and safety. He always wants to fall asleep with a full stomach.

The others know this.

Except he can fall asleep easily when he hasn’t eaten. He can barely be counted as safe, ever, because of the White Star. He complains about the cold but they know he sometimes forgets to ask for a jacket.

The strangest story, however.

The oddest story?

Cale sleep walked.

Once.

Raon watched him get out of bed, and followed him to a nondescript corner of their newest house, where he laid down and stopped moving.

Raon woke him up immediately, and Cale was very disoriented and confused, but Raon didn’t care about the sleep walking. He cared about the stillness. Cale had looked as if he was hiding from a monster and could barely lift his chest to breathe softly.

Raon demanded to sleep next to Cale from then on, because he was worried Cale would get himself hurt.

Cale reluctantly gave in. He thinks about Soo Hyuk and Jung Soo, and thinks they’d be proud of him for opening up.

He casts that thought away.

Could you imagine?

Finding out the theory is correct that the white star took the body of a Thames and that it was the son of Jour's brother. So it was Cale Henituse's maternal cousin, who was supposed to be Kim Rok Soo.

Both of their names being Cale boggles my mind because a lot of families have recurring first or middle names.

So imagine finding out both Thames siblings named their kids after their father only for them to try to kill each other.

Not sure who has talked about it yet (prbly everybody) but I love how Cale was a bit more capable of letting people from Roan in than in Korea as TL.

Like he seems like the same person, and he is, but it's visibly easier to get close to him from the perspective of Choi Han, the Molans, everybody. And I love that the reason is because they, to Cale's knowledge, had nobody. Choi Han has nobody from Korea or Harris, the children have no parents, neither do the wolves, the Molans lost their home, Rosalyn left her home and faced assassins, Alberu was scorned his whole life, and the list goes on.

It's pointed out that he tried to distance himself from the members of his Team after he became leader because they all had families and he did not. And that he, Choi Jung Soo, and Lee Soo Hyuk became close because they were people who already lost everybody. Then those people died, and he couldn't do it again.

Then he arrives in a world, surrounded by people who lost their parents, their homes, their whole worlds, and.

There is no family they have to go home to. So. Couldn't he help them have that? So he doesn't push them to leave, he just grumbles.

And I love how it's awkward for him (at first) to interact with the Henituse family. Not just because they were supposed to know Cale better than anyone else, but also that they were already their own family and he had to consider if he should be there at all, both as an 'outsider' and as 'Cale the Trash'. But then the Henituse household does that thing where they look at him, and no matter who they see past the eyes, it's a member of their own ranks. So even if they knew from the beginning about it or not, whether there is somebody else there or if a person truly chose change, this person is in their family and he is welcome in their house. Especially after all he's done, they have to chain him down somehow so he doesn't kill himself like a moron.

Anyway, I went back a couple of arcs to reread and catch up on part 2 cuz I haven't gone past Murim yet, how are u guys doin
