bf!veritas falls for your charm, your wit and how down to earth you were. you weren't arrogant, you didn't flaunt your achievements just because. when he first heard about you, he thought you were one of those foolish scholars but was pleasantly surprised when he met you and you were just chill. meetings for academic research gradually became casually hanging out with the other and before anyone knew it, you were both too close to be just friends.
