“Heh-! If only I could…however I’m afraid that while you’re stuck in the godforsaken place…that I am stuck with you.”
【❉】~; She couldn’t but let a sigh escape from her lips, could being here become anymore frustrating…since being in this place this man was the only person that she’s made any form of idle chit-chat with…and even then that was proving to be an encounter to not loose her temper. It was then her luck seemed to be increasing, for she could see yet another person approaching. Eye’s widened she made a fast paced walk over towards the other before speaking out towards them. “Excuse, I know this may seem sudden but could you perhaps tell me what’s going on here…and maybe this freak to stop following me?”
“…Say what?”
Melia enjoyed the reprieve from the harsh heat of Ira during her time at the Central Hub. Although the religious figures devoid of any facial features that wandered the area were unsettling, she grew acclimated to their presence after a few days. She learned quickly that one had to adapt fast in this unrelenting world, lest it swallow you whole.
“Even so...” she whispered to herself. “There is much I have yet to understand, and Leviathan offers me little information.”
“Huh? You murmuring something about it, Lady Melia?”
Melia offers Leviathan no response - only a cold shoulder. He squints at her for a moment before shrugging the matter off. His gaze moves past his master and he notices a young woman in a white dress briskly walking in their direction, a sharply dressed young man in tow.
“Don’t look now, but Snow White and her goon seem like they want a word with you.”
Melia’s head snaps toward the woman and her companion, who seemed to be in a hurry to reach her. She was right - the question was rather sudden.
“To be quite frank, I’m rather confused myself,” Melia admits. “Although...” How should she put this...? “Surely you must of some understand of what happened. What is the last thing you remember before arriving here?”

His eyes had been craving for something beautiful since he left that awful place behind. Gula, if he had heard correctly, muttered by a humansized walking dessert. He slightly shook his head upon the memory, and massaged the root of his nose with one hand, the other resting on his hip. If only he would find, maybe a princess, that would make hell a lot less hellish. And lo and behold! There she was. A being so beautiful and out of place as it could be, her mere presence resonating royalty.
He had to approach her.
His duty! His etiquette as a fellow noble person!
Straightening his back he made his way towards her, watching his step carefully until he stopped in front of the woman. A bow. An outstretched arm, palm waiting for her small hand to rest in. A common gesture, so deeply rooted in his behaviour, he wouldn’t be able to surpress it even in hell, where everyone was acting so perculiar. Barbarian, even.
“Pardon me, princess, I couldn’t help but walk over after I laid eyes on you. My name is Tettere, may I ask for yours, my lady?”
It was growing tiresome being in the company of a demonic reprobate whose only use seemed to be to wisecrack for days on end. Thus, although she would normally turn her nose up at someone so obviously attempting to court her, she was willing to chat with most anyone for a chance at a normal conversation. The man seemed like a proper gentleman at first glance, unlike the other sinners damned to this world, so she was thankful he of all people approached her.
Melia smiled politely at Tettere and lightly squeezed his hand, reciprocating the pleasantries. “My name is Melia. Melia Antiqua. A pleasure, Tettere.”
Light footsteps grew louder behind her. Next thing she knew, Leviathan leaned in toher ear.
“Stay alert, Lady Melia. This guy reeks of grade ‘A’ fuckboy.”
Though Leviathan made a show of trying to whisper his suspicions, he looked Tettere directly in the eye while doing so and spoke loud enough for him to hear. Melia sighed in frustration before aggressively gesturing her demon to leave. With a satisfied grin, Leviathan stuffed his hands into his pocket before backing away.
“I apologize on his behalf. He merely has my best interests in mind.”
So he says, at least.
