If I don't message you for ages it's either because :
I forget time exists (Though time is a made concept of reality and stupid)
I have compulsive need to clear out my notifications, messages and anything that bugs me so I have to work really hard to remember urls and people change them and I also just forget them.
I'm going through a I can't message people stage. Which means I'm in a pit of despair and I don't feel people. I will happily reply but messaging people is like eww to me.
Soo all in all please don't think I forgot you personally. I get really confused.
I’m getting a bunch of calls to the police. What the hell is going on down there? I’ll tell you what's going on: Parker just stabbed her guy with a fork.
Bechloe Week Day One: Mt Hood, Night, and Firelight
Can it be? Am I back?!? Yes! After eighteen long months of physical challenges, I have returned to the fandom we all love so much. And just in time for BECHLOE WEEK 2026!!!
After graduation, Chloe accompanies Beca to Portland, OR to spend some time in the brunette's hometown. It's one last adventure together before they go their separate ways. One weekend, Beca takes Chloe camping. The fact that Beca Mitchell actually doesn't hate the outdoor is surprising, but that won't be the only surprise of the night.

Chloe can hear Beca on the phone from her spot in the bedroom.
Her voice is sharp.
Staccato.
Like someone clicking their fingers trying to keep time with music.
"Yeah. Yeah. Uh huh. No. What? No."
Sometimes her tone changes. From direct to forced patience.
Like trying to explain to an upset toddler that two plus two doesn't equal five.
"I know that's what you want to happen, but realistically… Sure, in an ideal world…"
Chloe can hear the exhaustion. Can picture her pinching the bridge of her nose. Rubbing at a spot on her forehead to chase away a headache.
She's been at this for hours, all because she had the audacity to take a vacation.
Chloe looks down at the half-packed suitcase, a folded pyjama shirt in her hands, and decides to save her.
"Bec?" She calls, leaving the bedroom and leaning against the door frame of Beca's office.
"One sec," Beca says into the phone, before covering the mic with her hand. "What's up?"
"We need to hit the road pretty soon," she says.Â
"Yep, totally," Beca says, checking her watch. "Uh, give me like 10 minutes?"
Chloe raises an eyebrow.
"Five?"
Chloe nods. "I'll finish packing," she says, returning to their bedroom.Â
"Did you hear that?" Beca says into her phone. "This needs to be wrapped up in five minutes. No, sure, I appreciate that, but I am actually more scared of my very pregnant wife than I am of you, Theo, so let's get this sorted, shall we?"
Chloe smiles.Â
Even though Beca had already broken her promise of not working while on vacation, she couldn't find it in her to be mad.
She knew Beca was doing this so she'd be able to take some proper time off when the baby arrived.
Beca had been working herself to the bone, so when Chloe suggested they have a weekend away it was as much for Beca as it was for her.
"A babymoon?" Beca had asked. "Is that a thing?"
"Uh huh, and you promised you'd give me whatever I wanted."
"Hey," Beca says, pulling her out of her thoughts with a kiss on the cheek. "Sorry about that."
Chloe shakes her head. "It's fine. But get it out of your system now. There isn't a lot of cell service at the cabin, remember."
"Yeah, about that," Beca says, eyebrows furrowing. "Are we sure that's a good idea?"
"I think the label can survive without you for two days, Beca."
"No," Beca says, shaking her head. "It's not that. What if something happens? What if the little dude decides to come early?"
Chloe softens. "Nothing's going to happen," she says. "But even if it does, it's not like we're miles away from civilisation."
Beca chews on her bottom lip for a second before returning to her office.
"Bec?"
"I'm just checking Google maps for the nearest hospital," she says. A few seconds later Chloe hears the dull clunk and grind of their ancient printer springing to life. "And printing off directions."
Chloe can't help but laugh.
"Better safe than sorry," she says. "If this was a horror movie-"
"This isn't a horror movie," Chloe cuts her off. "This is… It's a cheesy Hallmark romcom."
Beca returns from her office, printed directions in hand. "I don't watch those," she says. "How do they end?"
"Usually with something like this." Chloe takes hold of the front of Beca's shirt and pulls her in for a kiss.
"Hmm, maybe I should give them a go."
"Nah," Chloe says. "99% of the time your character would be a man."
Beca wrinkles her nose. "Gross."

The drive takes the rest of the afternoon, and at least an hour of it is spent by Beca putting out fires on speakerphone.
Chloe is relieved when they leave the highway and the signal on their cell phones start to give out.
It's close to dinner time when they finally pull up outside their home for the weekend, the sun casting long shadows as it dips below the tree-line.
Their bags are dumped into the living room, and Beca barely has time to admire the rustic charm of the place before Chloe is taking her hand and pulling her towards the bedroom.
"Oh," she says. "Hell yeah. Babymoon's are awesome."
"Ha, you wish," Chloe replies. "I'm exhausted but I want to be able to take a night time walk to see the stars later, so we're taking a nap."
"I'm not really that tired," Beca says. "But you can nap and I'll just unpack and then maybe get some work done."
"We're taking a nap," Chloe says.Â
Beca opens her mouth to argue, but Chloe's raised eyebrows stop her. "Yes ma'am," she says. She joins Chloe on the bed and figures she'll sneak out once she's asleep.
Chloe rests her head on Beca's chest and Beca's hand moves up to play with her hair.Â
"Thank you for this," Chloe says, closing her eyes with a contented sigh. "It's going to be a long, long time before we're able to get away just the two of us again."
"I know," Beca replies. "This was a good idea."
Despite her protestations that she wasn't tired only minutes ago, Beca finds her eyes closing almost immediately.
She was tired. Is tired. She doesn't remember what not being tired feels like, and with the arrival of their son only weeks away, she doesn't know if she'll ever not feel tired again.
So she lets herself give into it. Lets herself sink into the surprisingly comfortable bed. She doesn't think about work, or money, or anything at all. She just lets herself fall asleep with Chloe covering her like a weighted blanket.
-
It's dark when Beca wakes up, and Chloe is no longer in the bed beside her, though she can hear soft music coming from the other room so she doesn't panic.
She checks her phone out of habit and is relieved to see no new messages, emails, or missed calls, all thanks to the lack of signal. She leaves it on the nightstand and follows the sound of music out into the next room.
"Hey sleepyhead," Chloe says, stirring a pot on the stove.
"Hey," Beca replies, rubbing her eyes. "Why didn't you wake me?"
"Because you needed the rest," Chloe replies.
"But I thought-" Beca cuts herself off to stifle a yawn, "I thought you wanted to go for a walk to see the stars?"
"We can," Chloe says. "After we've eaten."
Chloe dishes up mac and cheese.
"Aren't I supposed to be taking care of you?" Beca asks. "It's your babymoon after all."
"It's our babymoon. You'll get plenty of chances to take care of me after I've given birth."
Once they've eaten they pull on shoes and jackets and head out of the cabin.Â
The night sky is all blue and purple hues. A painted backdrop against the swirling stars that could be fireflies, and the black silhouetted trees.Â
"Wow," Chloe says.
"Holy shit," Beca agrees.
They walk in silence, hand-in-hand, necks craned upwards to watch the show the universe has put on for them.
"This is incredible," Beca says after a while. They've come to a stop beside a lake with a surface like glass. "If we weren't already married, I'd propose again."
Chloe laughs and rests her hands on her stomach.Â
"Thank you, again, for suggesting we do this," Beca says, putting her arm around Chloe and pulling her close.Â
"Thank you for agreeing to it," Chloe says. "And driving us all the way here. Let's head back, and I'll show you how grateful I am."
"God damn, my wife is awesome."
They make it back to the cabin and Beca heads into the bathroom to run Chloe a bath.
"Bec?"
"Yeah?"
"Uh, maybe don't worry about the bath."
"Oh," Beca says, turning off the faucet. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Chloe replies. "Don't freak out when I ask you this, but do you still have those printed out directions to the hospital?"
Beca freezes, her brain short-circuiting for a second.
"Beca?"
"Yeah!" Beca blurts out, almost tripping over her feet as she rushes back to the living room. "Yeah, I've got them. What's going on."
"I think we might have to cut the babymoon short," Chloe says. "I think my water just broke."
