I think everybody has that one band that for a period in their life, that's all they would listen to. For me, since I was twelve, it's been Fall Out Boy. Now I'm nearly twenty, and they're still my favorite because they impacted my life in such a positive way and I will be forever grateful for that. And sometimes when I go back and listen to some older fall out boy songs I get so overwhelmed with emotion and can feel an ache in my chest. I get so lost in all the familiar lyrics and music and I'm just so happy. Listening to them makes me genuinely happy. Now, FOB isn't my only favorite band but they were the first to really make me fall in love with music. I think that this is how you know when you truly love something.
