Yep, AI destroys our planet. How? Uses water to power the computers on which platforms like OpenAI and c.ai run on. Water eventually runs out, especially with the current climate issues. Thus, no drinking water for humans and animals. No water for food to grow. Therefore, no food for humans and animals to eat. We already live in a world where many countries do not have clean water to drink, can’t afford water or do not have water at all. We do not need another thing polluting our waters when we cannot even prevent or even address the current problems we have, such as rubbish in water ways and toxic chemicals/parasites polluting water.

Not to mention you’re literally giving your writing—which prompt these c.ai conversations—to AI to train them…“Oh but I can’t write”, no I think you can you’re just severely undermining yourself. I don’t think y’all realise, but as you’re using these bots you are also writing. And you often have to be very descriptive in order for it to understand or get a desirable response. You are already writing! Instead of wasting your time and energy on trying to get AI to understand you, go read a fanfiction, or write one yourself if you cannot find one for the specific character you want. “But it’s not as fun to write it.” I fear this may just be a you problem or—and I say this in the nicest way possible—you might just be stupid. Because you’re willing to spend hours on end putting up with AI and its mistakes, but you don’t wanna spend a single second doing the same thing you do with AI? With the freedom of writing the storyline to your own desire and not have it be some shit generated slop that messes up the whole story you’re aiming for? Yeah righttt….

This is why no one is hiring artists and their degrees are going to waste. Just because their employer would rather use a machine for labour than pay a human being. It’s also why people are growing incompetent, a lot of people cannot write a single email without asking AI for help. It’s why the vast majority of students cannot write a single essay in school. I say this as someone who has graduated in 2025, and has seen their classmates first hand, using AI to write their CREATIVE pieces, about their PERSONAL lives. What does AI know about your life that you don’t? How can AI convey the raw emotional experiences of your life? Simple. It can’t.

Also not cool to promote, normalise and subject yourself to a platform that is prevalent in cases of children developing psychosis, and even committing suicide.

I still think that my favorite urban legend/folklore fact is that there are certain areas in New Orleans where you cannot get a taxi late at night not because it isn’t safe, but because taxi companies have had recurring problems of picking up ghosts in those areas who are not aware that they are dead and disappearing from the cab before reaching the destination and therefore stiffing the driver on the fare causing a loss for the company.

In a book about the tsunami in Japan in 2011, the writer talked about how there was a huge increase in reports of ghostly activity. Apparently in Japan treating ghosts rudely is basically considered the stupidest thing you could possibly do. For months after the tsunami, taxi drivers would pick up a passenger only to have them give an address in one of the devastated areas. The cab driver often looked up halfway to the destination to find their fare had disappeared. Not wanting to be impolite to the person (even if they were dead) they’d drive to the address, open the door to let them out, then drive away.

It's so funny to me that Mary Shelley, her husband, John Polidori, and Lord Byron had a competition to see who could write the best horror story and she wrote fucking Frankenstein. Imagine losing a competition that badly. Imagine just doing a silly little competition with your friend and she basically invents a new genre and creates one of the most famous characters in fiction. Imagine being proud of your little story and then she shares one that people will still read every day in 200 years. Don't forget the part where the unsigned "manifesto" (with absolutely no identifying details or specific details of the crime which the cops wouldn't know) said he loved cops so much he wanted to save them the trouble by confessing. Which he then did not do.

And they found this "manifesto" and the gun by, I shit you not, taking his backpack away from the witnesses at the fast food joint. Turning off their body cameras. Unpacking the backpack. Repacking it. Bringing it back to where the witnesses were. And then "discovering" the gun and manifesto. This, a set of actions performed by a police force which has a long and legally adjudicated history of planting evidence on people.

I'm not sure how he could be more obviously less guilty unless one of the cops forgot to turn off their body camera while planting the evidence.

I think clone wars dark side anakin is my favorite dark side anakin. because yeah, in the movies, you can tell he's gonna fall. maybe not in the phantom menace, but in attack of the clones and revenge of the sith, it's so obvious! everything about him just oozes both light and dark, the dark steadily winning. but clone wars anakin? clone wars anakin? oh, he's a sun. he's blindingly bright and he's happy. we can go full episodes without a trace of the dark side showing up on his face or in his actions, which makes when he does go dark even more jarring. when he snaps and attacks and the imperial march plays faintly in the background, when not even ten minutes earlier in the episode he was joking around with ahsoka. that is peak dark side anakin to me, because that is what i imagine anakin truly was. happy and fun and then snapping, terrifying. it's why no one believed it when he fell. why obi-wan and padme and ahsoka didn't see it coming.
