Loving the thought of alien races in Mass Effect having a human fetish the way we have monster and alien-fuckers on Earth, but for different reasons

Turians into humans tend to be fascinated by their...well, squishiness. It's remarkable how a race that's got such formidable fighters and a brash personality can be so soft, especially compared to the hard skin of the Turians. The thought of "accidentally" grabbing one too hard just to see the little marks left on their human's skin would make them blush (well, if Turians could)

Salarians are a logical people, so this would be a very taboo thing. Humans are incompatible with their breeding, they're slow in several senses, etc. But the Salarians into humans are like how some of us are into himbos/bimbos. I could also see though, a Salarian who falls for a human that almost manages to keep up with them or surprise them. For a culture so dedicated to intellectual pursuits, a non-Salarian that can match or even outwit one could cause some surprising reactions--be they emotional or biological.

Asari into humans aren't that uncommon or taboo, since reproducing with them has a lot of advantages. Humans are certainly full of surprises and traits that Asari lack of their own, and humans are also more than happy to have relationships with beings that most resemble their standards of attractiveness. A lot of Asari that have a preference or kink for humans find them endearing, with their short lives and their audaciousness and their strong wills.

Krogans don't really think about WHY they want to fuck. They're attracted to fighting ability, ferociousness, good tactics, straightforwardness, and those who aren't afraid to show their true emotions. Though that's what the ones genuinely interested in RELATIONSHIPS with humans are into. For those Krogan who take their fatalistic and/or sadistic mindset to the extreme, THEY like humans because of how fun it is to overpower them in close combat and dominate them in a very specific kind of way 👀
