steve and soda slapbox each other for fun. they only stopped after one of them accidentally smacked the other in the side of the head so hard they threw up everywhere. darry was not thrilled.

i’m sorry but i LOVE the headcanon that steve can bench press sodapop. it’s just so silly because you know soda’s giggling like a schoolgirl the whole time and steve’s being a cocky little shit about it because while steve may be six inches shorter than soda, he’s still able to haul him around like a rag doll if he wants to. soda absolutely melts over it too. he knows how to tile steve up so he’ll pick him up too because the minute he starts cracking short jokes or implying steve’s not strong enough to carry him, steve’s hauling his ass up and onto his shoulders juts to prove he can.

steve likes showing off and sodas his biggest cheerleader, even though steve has enough ego to pass around the gang at least three times.

soda sings in the shower. i just know he does. and it’s not good singing either, it’s like scream singing/belting. sometimes darry will hit the ceiling with the handle of their broom and tell him to shut up because their kitchen is right below the bathroom. he doesn’t. he songs louder because he’s a little shit
