Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (deleted scene)
Seriously though, this scene. WHY DID THEY DELETE THIS SCENE?
And as they went away with Luke letting Han’s hand trail out of his, I thought, “…as though millions of Han/Luke shipper voices suddenly cried out and were silenced.”
Meet Maido-kun, the gleeful one-eyed mascot of the now defunct anime magazine OUT (1977-1995).
Despite its title and Maido-kun’s trademark rainbow mohawk, OUT wasn’t an LGBT-specific publication. But in addition to pioneering alternative doujinshi fanzine culture, it did give us what I feel I can pretty confidently call the first lesbian wedding cover in anime history:
Animage (03/1988) - Urusei Yatsura.
Look, a trilby of my teen years…
Wait, if I’m a lady and I put this on, will I turn into a Nice Guy?
Nonsense, I’m a girl…but let’s try this out, why not.
…..I think I’m burning this.
Guess who’s being drawn!
We go forward.
This is too deep to comprehend.
Stop it
I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE FUNNY
:(((((
i always forget that along with stitch, lilo also gains 2 weird alien dads
and two human dads. if you count. agent bubbles & david. ah. lilo you really scored in that dads department.
Lilo is to dads as Steven Universe is to moms.
Lilo and Steven would get along so well. Collecting their weird alien families and playing guitars and hanging out at the beach.
Aww that would be so cute
so cute, i had to draw them together!

Bonus 1979-1990 Anime Primer Phoenix: Space (1987)
In 2577 AD, four astronauts awaken from cold sleep to find their shuttle damaged and one of their team dead. Makimura, who was tasked with supervising the ship, leaves behind nothing but a shriveled corpse and a disturbing note stating he was murdered. The crew has no time to question each other as they must quickly board their escape pods… but as their slow drift through space continues with little hope of rescue, tension and paranoia mount, especially once they realize a fifth escape pod has been following them from a distance: Makimura’s…
Phoenix: Space is one of three adaptions of Osamu Tezuka’s classic Phoenix manga produced by Madhouse, each focusing on a different story arc and featuring a different director. The other two productions, while not without merit, feel uneven compared to this tightly-paced outing by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D). Having already proved his mettle with the stylish horror Wicked City and the unnerving Burning Man segment of Neo-Tokyo, Kawajiri brings the exact right touch of moodiness and suspense to this haunting sci-fi tale of crime and punishment. Bright hues color the dark scenes that propel this slow-burn mystery, which invites the audience to mull over the concept of intergalactic karma.

Worst Case vs. Best Case Scenarios by Karina Farek.
This is a great joke, but it’s also a wonderful strategy for reducing anxiety that I learned about in therapy. If you’re ever nervous about something, just ask yourself: what’s the best thing that can happen? What’s the worst thing? What will most likely happen?
It does wonders for your nerves, really does.
My counsellor walks me through this all the time and it works??
