There is this one character I found to be a little dissatisfying. JOKER! I mean he wasn’t all that bad, but no one can beat the heat of Heath Ledger. Leto as joker acted so captain Jack Sparrowish, nothing original. Moreover, even though his makeup was fantastic but the scars? Where were them scars? I was desperately waiting for the moment when he was supposed to say that typical joker dialogue ‘Do you want to know how I got these scars?’ But nope. He never said that. Nope.
Harley Quin played Joker’s love interest. Director did a good job by telling us a little bit about Harlene Quinzel who used to be Joker’s psychiatrist, with the aim of making joker sane, fell into his lunatic charms herself. Poor bitch! The point is, the background story helped those people who are unaware of how Harlene turned into Harly. Gosh I love Margot Robbie. She was filled with lunacy. Exactly what was required? Her acting was out of the way. How she felt and carried her character was something not many people could do. It was enormously bizarre.
Boomerang showed what he is capable of! Although, I don’t admire Jai Courtney I mean what is he? I never really understood him. Can someone please explain him to me? In spite of all that he is and that he isn’t, his Aussie accent portrayed how really talented he is. A job well done!
Good to have Dead-shot on the team. He was the center button. Will smith is a legend. Enough said!
Can’t say much about the killer croc. His acting hid behind his beautiful face. No I am not being sarcastic. Have you ever seen crocs I mean how beautiful they are. In case, you are wondering, who was brave enough to get his face all fucked then let me enlighten you. It was Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Yes I am damn sure that’s the name.
Al-Diablo’s tattoos caught my eye. Now I want those tattoos on me face. The part where they killed him made me wanna scream hard enough to shatter the windows or something glass. But I know he ain’t dead. He plays with fire in fact he is fire. May be next time we get to see him again. If there’s any next time. There are chances he might have consumed fire and possibly is alive. I like to believe that. No argument! Played by the sexiest Jay Hernandez.
No offense but Enchantress was a little flat don’t you think? In terms of acting, a lot actually. Cara Delevingne is a model not an actress. I did not approve her acting in Paper Towns. The girl is sexy no doubt. But please do not ruin the movie if you ain’t know how to act! Period.
I liked how Katana swung her sword and beheaded the ones in her way. Such smooth skills! Must have had a shit load of training or perhaps, a body double under the mask! She was just a.. umm... what do we call it. Umm... a side-kick? I am sorry Karen Fukuhara no disrespect but I think your services weren’t required.
Rick flag played by Joel Kinnaman was lovely to watch- A die-heart patriot who developed feelings for the bad guys. I did see that coming. Duh! But he blew slipknot’s brains out. Slipknot was just about to put on a fine show right then Rick hit the kill switch. Poof... Gone! Dead! How cruel!
Last but not the least, Amanda fucking Waller. The one who actually came up with this idea to bring all the hopeless, abominable and dreadful people together for her own interest. She was the only one who knows their weaknesses. In short she controlled them and the bad guys actually feared her.
I thought Amanda Waller was going to liberate them at the end. But what did she do? Put them back in jail? If she did let them go then the villains would have turned the city upside down which definitely would have deprived us of the next Suicide Squad. I don’t know. At least now we can hope for another suicide squad. Take out all the bad guys from jail, make them do rollies and then put em back in. Be a little selfish and repeat till you run out of ideas. That’s how it’s supposed to work!
