Aspd culture is realizing 'huh. I only have one person in my life other than myself who id feel sad about dying or genuinely feel emotional empathy for when theyre hurt. Strange' and then going on to say you dont have aspd because youre not commiting crimes 24/7 and telling people they should die when they piss you off.

If you claim to be an ally to people with mental illness and disability and then say things like "narcissist abuse" ,"my ex was a narcissist" or called people with cluster B's abuser and view them as dangerous, your not an ally.

Your abliest and constantly demonize a disorder that is already stigmatized.

"but they where a narcissist" I don't care, when someone calls someone like their mom or ex a narcissist 9/10 that person isn't even diagnosed with NPD. Just call them an abuser.

Also narcissist abuse doesn't exist and never will you don't say autism abuse or depression abuser you call it abuse.

Trying to beat this constant feeling of boredom. It's never enough. I can spend the day studying, tending to art and literature, making music... hell, even socializing. I am productive. I am busy. Yet I'm always on edge, looking for something more appealing, more consuming, craving the adrenaline and dopamine. It's a bottomless pit.

Is it just me or do any other neurodivergent people out there need to be told in far advance before being asked to do a chore or you freak out and cry or get really overwhelmed over it? Like my parents will be like “oh hey can you do *insert chore or task* today?” and I’ll just be like 🤯 today???? Idc that it’ll only take 15 minutes or less it was not on the agenda??? I have to work my way up to it I can’t just??? Do it without knowing about it for more than a day

im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. “kids are always on their phones” so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didn’t chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!

an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and i’s minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.

“kids are always on their damn phones” my mom is in her 60s and opens up candy crush anytime she’s sitting — it isnt just the kids

i just had a phone call and i am genuinely nauseous afterward

i hate making phone calls so much and i know that’s an autism thing but i don’t really know why

i hate that i have no volume control. i try so, so hard to reel it in but when im happy, excited, relaxed, comfortable, etc. i talk and laugh loud. it’s as involuntary as laughter. i don’t realize until i get shushed, then i feel like my heart got stomped on. it’s so frustrating because i KNOW it is annoying but can’t seem to help it. getting called on it always takes me from happy to feeling awful in a millisecond
