I was staying in Kochi for three nights, the first night was at a nearby hotel called Kochi Hotel.  Then the next two nights I booked this hotel.  It has a very high rating on Tripadvisor and it’s very near the weekend market which is extremely convenient if that is why you are in Kochi for.

I was staying in Kochi for three nights, unfortunately none of the hotels had rooms available for all three nights so I had to book two hotels instead which isn’t ideal.  I hate moving around, packing and unpacking, it’s rather tiring.  I stayed one night in Kochi Hotel, then two more nights at Richmond Kochi hotel.

One of the hottest coffee shop in Seoul this year, Zapangi which literally translates to ‘vending machine’ in Korean hence why their door is the famous pink vending machine.  One of the most Instagrammed  cafe/coffee shop in Seoul, and people queues up just for a picture with the door than for the coffee itself.

Ikkaku 一鶴 骨付鳥 (丸亀本店 Marugame Branch)

If you are planning to come to Shikoku, then you probably have searched on google ‘food Shikoku’ or ‘must eat in shikoku’.  One of the top ‘must eat’ food in Shikoku is their grilled chicken on the bone and there are not only one but a few restaurants that specialize in this dish.  I picked  Ikkaku 骨付鳥 一鶴 as it was the most popular and the reviews were all positive.

One of the ‘must’ eat in Kochi whenever you search for food in Kochi, Japan.  屋台安兵衛 Yasube is famous for their delicious dumplings.  They are located in many places including the famous Hirome Market where there are many other delicious food stalls, however I chose to eat at the yatai ( outdoor food stand).

欽山製麺所 Kinzanseimenjo

欽山製麺所 Kinzanseimenjo is very famous in Takamatsu, Japan, it is one of the top 3 ramen place in the area.  Be sure to come early to avoid the queue, I arrived just after 6pm and there was no queue although the shop is in a reasonable size with bar seats and tatami floor seating.
