i mean, officially tumblr's policy is "if you think intentionally gaining weight is hot, you're mentally ill and a danger to yourself and others" but because they both can't and wont differentiate between feedist content, fat fetishism, fat people expressing their sexuality, and fat people just... existing; the final product is that fat bodies in any context are treated as dangerous and disgusting. If you're fat and you're comfortable in your body, you're delusional and encouraging others to be unhealthy. If you're attracted to fat bodies, you're mentally ill and dangerous.

and that's not even covering the fact that classifying feedism as an eating disorder is absolutely absurd. Words. have meanings. Mental illnesses and fetishes are two different things?? they work differently. I'd say it would be like banning images of very skinny people on the grounds that they encourage eating disorders but the logic for that is actually stronger than banning feedist content because it encourages eating disorders.
