The problem with having OCs is that sometimes you wanna read about your little guy being in situations but unfortunately he is YOUR little guy and no one is gonna put him in that situation but you. Tragic.

I need Roland De Chumsfanleigh (it's not his fault) to formally apologize to Tiffany Aching... Right. The. Heck. Now!

Before I start with the Crossing of the Arms, and the Tapping of the Feet, I have a thing to say. I'm halfway through I Shall Wear Midnight (roughly), and this is my first introduction to Discworld (shoutout to my amazing boyfriend @weaver-of-dreams-of-bravagar for getting me into it). Now, onto my rant.

As I mentioned previously, I'm halfway through I Shall Wear Midnight. Tiffany just arrived in Ankh-Morpork with the Feegles and she's there looking for Roland to tell him his dad just passed away. She has to. She's the Hag of the Hills, but more importantly, she's his friend. Or, well, that's what she thought.

Because when she finally finds him, instead of Roland being happy of seeing her and asking her if she's okay (which would be logical, considering she's his ONLY FRIEND), he proceeds to accuse her of doing something to the floor of the place where he was with his fiancée and his mother-in-law, lets his mother-in-law berate her, and, worst of all, blames her for the death of his father. As if Tiffany wasn't doing her best to take away his pain.

In short, YIKES.

And the worst part? The part that broke my heart the most? When Roland shows the tiara to the guard and Tiffany says "only blonde girls could get the handsome prince and live a fairytale".

Tiffany. Angel. Sweetheart. Baby. Darling. No.

YOU deserve to have a fairytale as well. YOU deserve all the happiness in the world no matter your hair color. YOU deserve better than having a "friend" who doesn't stand up for you just because he's with his girlfriend, ESPECIALLY when said girlfriend is jealous of you for no other reason than being her boyfriend's friend.

And, look, I understand what Roland is going through. Better than most people, I would think. I lost my grandma four years ago, and these years without her have been the most challenging, difficult, and horrible period of my life, in some parts. On the day she passed away, I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe she was gone. I desperately wanted to believe that it was all a horrible nightmare. But it wasn't, and I had to live with that.

So I did the most Tiffany Aching Thing I could have done. I tried to move forward beause I knew my grandma would hate to see me crying. She actually hated to see me crying. And, yes, I did lash out at my dad every now and then when I acted irrationally and blamed myself (and him) for not doing more to keep my grandma alive.

I have made my peace with that and I'm recovering from it, bit by bit.

Grief is not crying a bit and then moving on. Grief is like an ever-present shadow that never goes away. We just don't think about it too much so it doesn't drive us insane.

In short, I do understand Roland is grieving his dad. And that mixed with the presence of the Cunning Man is making him say things he proably doesn't mean. I do believe he cares for Tiffany, they're basically brother and sister at this point. BUT that does not excuse his behavior towards her in this first half of the book. AT ALL.

My dude, Tiffany literally flew all the way to Ankh-Morpork, not knowing exactly where in Ankh-Morpork you were, to give you the news of your dad's passing personally. Because she's worried for you. Because she's your friend. And you just... throw her under the bus? What kind of friend does that? WHAT KIND OF DECENT HUMAN BEING DOES THAT?

If I were you, I would be writing a twelve-pages-long apology. By hand. Tiffany deserves nothing less.

And if he doesn't, I will personally... you know, have a little chat with him. Along with Esme, Gytha and the Feegles. Especially Rob Anybody.

Hello, everyone! Favi here again!

I have very good news for you all! And first thing is... I'm officially a Journalist now! I graduated today! And it was quite an experience. Especially because I got a 5 (the highest grade here in Cuba), with congratulations.

Now, onto I Can't Help But Wonder. I'm editing chapter 2 right now. However, I won't be able to post it this week, I have a World of Darkness session on Tuesday.

I'll be posting chapter 2 the week after. Also, I'll be working on chapter 3, and possibly stsrt writing chapter 4.

Hello, everybody! Favi here again.

I come today with updates about what I decided to call The External Disk Saga TM, with some good news regarding I Can't Help But Wonder, and with a proposal for you guys.

First of all, the good news is my dad has a friend who works on the military who is going to try to recover my information from the external disk, because it turns out my hopes for getting my things back were... short-lived. It's sad, but one can only hope the sun will shine again.

Regarding my beloved Batfamily Regency AU, I could recover a part of the chapters I had written before the tragedy happened. Other than chapter 1, which is already published on AO3, I'll be reworking and rewriting the chapters I recovered before continuing with the story. It'll take a lot of work, I know, but the best thing I can do right now is try to rebuild from what I have left.

And, now, onto my proposal for you guys. After seeing my fanfic has been having A LOT of engagement from the readers (it's on 603 reads now, so thank you!!!), I thought it would be a good idea to make a Discord server so I can interact with you guys! It's still in the works, and it won't be open to the public until everything is ready and good to go, but I'd very much like to know if you guys would be interested in joining a server so we can interact more closely.

When you're thirteen, you're going to show your dad your first Sailor Moon fanfic about the story of the Silver Millenium. He's going to say it's not "real writing" and that "fanfiction won't take you anywhere". It's very important that you don't listen to him and keep writing.

Thank you so much to all the people who have read, bookmarked and commented on I Can't Help But Wonder !!! I'm beyond happy with all the love it's been recieving!!! I never thought my writing would have this much impact!!!

Sadly, not everything is good news. Unfortunately, my external disk, where I had most of my writing projects, including the fanfic, broke yesterday, so I haven't been abe to do the edits I want to chapter 2 and finish chapter 3 yet.

Hopefully, not everything is lost. And one of my dad's friends is trying to recover my information. Writing projects, games, shows and movies, school stuff, TTRPG rulebooks and character sheets. And many other things. I should be hearing from him the coming days. I'll be sure to update you guys when I have more information.

All this to say that the update might not be on Tuesday, but there's still a week, so not everything is lost.
