About me: I am on the aroace spectrum, but I identify as queer in terms of my sexual orientation. I studied writing in undergrad. I am pursuing a Master's degree as of right now. I am an INFJ-T. I am a Hellenic Polytheist. I am Hellenic, Celtic, and Appalachian. English is my first language, but a bitch can barely speak it... or write it. I still write regardless, I am in this for the love of the game. I love beetles. Winter is my favorite season. I LOVE film, especially gothic thrillers. Do I take requests? Yes, I do.

What do you need to know before making requests? When submitting a request, I at least need to know who it is I am writing for. As of right now, I am only writing for IWTV. You can also add a specific genre to the request (e.g., fluff, smut, angst). You can also provide a prompt, and I will do my best to incorporate any specific details you want me to include.

There will be a delay in me posting any new writing.

TW: death, grief.

Recently, my grandmother passed. She had vascular dementia. She hadn’t been lucid in years. She had decades of memory gaps. She wasn’t able to eat, sleep, or even go to the bathroom. The disease ate away at her for over a decade. It effectively robbed me of the woman who practically raised me, as often times she was the only family member that was there. I tried to cope with the fact that she would go eventually for years, but in the end, I don’t think anything prepares you for that loss. It’s gut wrenching. It feels like something has been physically ripped from my body. My throat feels like it’s being squeezed consistently. I’ve cried and sobbed like a baby for days. I can barely make myself get up or eat. I would like nothing more than to be creative, but all my efforts have been used to survive and pretend like everything is okay when I step outside of my apartment.

Writing has usually been a comfort and joy to me. It is my passion. My hobby. My expression. It means the world to me. But when you usually write about death and mortality and someone you love has died… let’s just say the wounds are a bit too fresh for me. I’m doing my best to not trigger myself.

Hopefully, soon, I will be able to finally sit down and reconnect with what I love. Until then, I will be mourning the woman who no matter how much she was suffering, would make sure to tell me I was pretty everytime she saw me. Even when she couldn’t remember me.

When that day comes, this post will be deleted.
