AO3 as FeallanGilyvor. Fanfic writer mainly focused on Undertale and the extended fandom multiverse. Expect other general interests to show up here, such as Hollow Knight, Soulsborne games and really anything else that catches my fancy.
I really like non-linear story-telling, where half the fun of reading is trying to understand the journey between the beginning and the end. We’ve come to the point where I feel reading Not Broken, Just Bent in linear order would make for an interesting perspective, so I’ve listed and linked the chapters below in their proper timeline order!

How can the BSP +Addison handle heat? If they were to take the Hot Ones Challenge (assuming the season 23 lineup), how far could they go?
The Gang Vs. The Spicy Chicken Wing
Nightmare: Nightmare is not really one for spicy foods, he's typically more of a savoury Monster. He's also not really a chicken wing Monster either. But he is willing to play along with the challenge with the others. He doesn't get very far, has to tap out after the Los Calientes Verde. The spice sticks inside his mouth in a weird way, and while he doesn't sweat or cough, he feels as if the corruption has gotten both thick and runny in a way that's not at all comfortable. While he doesn't really understand the point of these "challenges" that involve self-inflicted misfortune, he can admit that there is more to a spicy sauce challenge than that. He just doesn't have the taste for it.
Dust: Quits after the Queso Sin Queso. Honestly he finds the earlier sauces pretty mild in terms of spice, and visibly he doesn't react much when he does hit the roof of his tolerance. He knows himself well enough to know when to fold, and while the Queso Sin Queso is delicious once the burning part fades away he feels the sweat start to build along his skull, causing his hood to stick to it like velcro. He just sits back and watches the others continue through the challenge while he tugs at his scarf to let some air hit his vertebrae.
Addison: She taps out after Da'Bomb. Up until that point, everything is fine and delicious. Yeah, there's a bit of sweat on her face, and she has to grab a headband to keep her hair from sticking to her forehead. But she's not coughing or crying or complaining about the pain. She enjoys the Bourbon Maple more than she expected to, and wants to keep the bottle as a staple for wing night going forward (for her, at least). But when she gets to Da'Bomb... she makes a face, almost angry and disgusted, sticking her tongue out repeatedly like trying to air it out. She finishes the wing, and is sniffling a lot more all of a sudden, reaching for the napkins to blow her nose that's going to be very runny for the next hour or so. But she's more upset that she doesn't like the taste. Like it forgot it was also supposed to taste good or interesting as well as hot.
Horror: Completes the line-up. Of course he does! And he is mostly visibly unshaken by all of them, although towards the end his sentences are punctuated with more minor coughing and false-throat clearing than normal. He is absolutely critiquing each sauce, picking apart the flavours and weighing whether the balance of heat works with the sauce or works against it. His favourites are The Lost Calientes Verde, The Forbidden Fruit, and the Last Dab. When he finishes the Last Dab covered wing (with extra helping, as per tradition), he lets out a loud triumphant burp and settles into his chair all satisfied. He keeps almost all of the sauces afterwards for future personal use.
Also he made the chicken wings for the challenge and he's very proud when even anti-finger food Nightmare enjoys them.
Cross: Considering the kinds of things Cross can't handle very well (i.e. alcohol, cooking) Cross actually has an amazing tolerance for spice, and even enjoys it a lot. He often keeps his preference for spicy food on the down low if only because he knows it's not to everyone's taste, so this challenge is exciting for him. And he breezes through it as easily as Horror, cleaning the wings down to the bone, and he and Horror polish off Dust and Nightmare's unfinished portions too. When he gets to the Last Dab, and per the rules adds an extra glob of it to the wing, this is where he chokes a bit, the spice hitting him right at the back of his mouth and causing him to tear up a lot. He doesn't regret it though, and is so happy to hear that Horror is thinking about trying his hand at his own personal hot sauce. He looks forward to using the kept sauces on his tacos next taco night.
Killer: All the way baby. Killer is a machine and will power through every sauce and every wing all the way down to the bone. Last dab? That bird is getting wholly double sauced right before it goes into his mouth.
And he is suffering.
His skull goes hot red right after the first wing with the lowest scoville rating and stays that way right into next week. The liquid hate is completely and utterly flushed out by the torrent of tears that pour like twin rivers from his sockets after the second wing. He gets the unfortunate experience of discovering that skeletons can still feel contact burns from touching the wrong places without washing hands free of lingering sauce. He tries to avoid manifesting his tongue to save himself the pain but everything is still fire and agony going down.
Killer can't take heat. Can't take anything more than a few shakes of the pepper shaker while keeping the emergency glass of milk close by. Mild salsa is not nearly mild enough. But he refuses to quit, refuses to back down. "For the meme!" he shouts, crazed and crying and entirely bathroom bound for a week. No one wants to clean it when he finally emerges.
Something else I did was back in August, I wrote a standalone piece for the Sansgust 2023 event. I also never posted it here, so here's the link for the curious:
One-Shot for the Sansgust 2023 event. Prompt: Dancing
You give the gift of music to the one you care about, while you both try to find your footing in this strange in-between place you've found yourselves in as your relationship changes into something more.
Where a dance can be the most terrifying thing to try.
The thing about hiatuses is that I forget to update all my usual places. That being said...

a scene from chapter thirteen <3 i made a super cute reader and im in love with her hair
He’s the one who eventually breaks the kiss, pulling back but resting his hands on the counter behind you to keep you in his space. He watches the way your cheeks bloom with colour, listening to the way your quiet breaths quicken just a hair.
This is so cute! I love love love this! The way you have the soft colours feeling cozy, Dust and Addy being all sweet and cuddly! I love your version of her, I agree her hair is great! 💜💜💜🥺🥹 Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this with us!
I've been replaying Pokemon Sword - my old save was lost when my switch died and had to be repaired - and I had a lot of fun with it! I know at launch people were really salty about the smaller Pokedex but honestly, it didn't bother me then and it still doesn't really bother me now. We're at over 1000 of the little guys now, I think the games can skip a few here and there just for the sake of keeping things from being bloated.
I also still think Dynamaxing is a fun feature, and I like it a bit more than the current Tera forms gimmick.
The main story takes a weird turn that's still off-putting to this day, but I dig the whole notion of the competition of the gym challenge. I do wish it was a tiny bit harder.
To that end, I decided on a gimmick run for this playthrough: bugs!
This is Maddie, and she loves bugs. Big bugs, small bugs, smol bugs 🥺. She entered the Gym challenge to showcase the versatility of Bug-type Pokemon, and wants to be a Bug-type Gym leader one day.
Captured early on as a smol Cutiefly, Ribombee can be considered Maddie's main partner throughout her journey. (Water-Type Sobble was chosen specifically so Hop would take the Fire-Type Scorbunny and then immediately boxed at the first opportunity to do so). She's cute and powerful, likes throwing around pollen puffs and can take down dragons.
Vikavolt had to fight it out with Galvantula for a spot on the main team, but in the end it came down to the sheer power she packs with her attacks and her available move pool. That and I always loved Vikavolt from the days when I played Moon and Ultra Moon. Vikavolt could handle a number of threats on her own, but mainly was the dangerous Flying-Type killer for the team.
I remember Centiskorch being on my main team in my old, lost save of Sword, but even then I never did get one that could Gigantimax. Thanks to the DLC (which I'm playing through for the first time ever with this run as well), this guy can get real big and intimidating. Also reminds me of Mushu for some reason. Maybe it's the moustache.
The main counter for Fire-Type threats, Araquanid is a beast and a tank, even with a nature that doesn't serve him too well. He's also adorable. They're all adorable. Man, Gen 7 had a lot of good Bug-Types, didn't they? Actually, so did Gen 5, which brings us to...
If you had told me that Durant would be the MVP and lynchpin of this entire team, I would have laughed. But it's true. She was picked up for Maddie's team just to deal with the Fairy Gym at first, but then stayed on as she helped to take out the Rock and Dragon gyms as well. She is a beast with her attack stat and I never would have called that back when I first started. I figured I would eventually transfer over a Scizor or something to that effect.
And Crustle! Look at this guy! Look at his two brain cells bouncing around in his little head! Crustle ended up being a great all-rounder that mainly tanked and set up stuff, and taking out very specific threats. Like Durant, the plan was to eventually switch him out later, but honestly nothing ever really filled the niche as well as he did.
And that's the main team Maddie used to kick Leon's ass. Special shoutout to Frosmoth, whom I love in theory and looks, but by the time you can catch a Snom a lot of the trainers can one-shot it easily due to its weaknesses (thanks Ice-Type). Just finished up the Isle of Armour, gonna start the Crown Tundra dlc soonish. Just playing around and having fun for now. Sword is a great game, and I'm glad I decided to replay it!
