Robert Baratheon x Gluttony

Robert Baratheon's gluttony symbolizes his physical and spiritual decline after ascending the Iron Throne. Over the years of his reign, he descended into alcoholism, overeating, and lechery. This played a fatal role in his demise.

"The king was a great disappointment to Jon. His father had talked of him often: the peerless Robert Baratheon, demon of the Trident, the fiercest warrior of the realm, a giant among princes. Jon saw only a fat man, red-faced under his beard, sweating through his silks. He walked like a man half in his cups."

"I'm not trying to honor you, I'm trying to get you to run my kingdom while I eat, drink, and whore my way to an early grave."

“I sit on the damn iron seat when I must. Does that mean I don't have the same hungers as other men?"

Lysa Arryn (née Tully) x Envy

I think it was one of the easiest choices. Lysa harbored intense jealousy towards her older sister Catelyn, especially due to Petyr Baelish's unrequited love for Catelyn. That and Littlefinger’s manipulation led to a deterioration in the relationship between the sisters.

Later her resentment towards Cat projected on to Sansa and eventually was the cause of her demise.

“You can't want her. You can't. She's a stupid empty-headed little girl. She doesn't love you the way I have. I've always loved you. I've proved it, haven't I?”

I drew her at the moment of writing a letter to Catelyn. There’s also a little vial behind the inkwell.

“You told me to put the tears in Jon's wine, and I did. For Robert, and for us! And I wrote Catelyn and told her the Lannisters had killed my lord husband, just as you said... Why did you kiss her? Why? We're together now, we're together after so long, so very long, why would you want to kiss herrrrrr?”

“My sweet silly jealous wife,” he said, chuckling. “I’ve only loved one woman, I promise you.”

Lysa Arryn smiled tremulously. “Only one? Oh, Petyr, do you swear it? Only one?”

“Only Cat.”

Petyr Baelish x Lust

For Littlefinger I chose the sin of lust for two reasons:

1. He exploits others base instincts for his own ends. Lust is weapon to him.

“Everyone wants something, Alayne. And when you know what a man wants you know who he is, and how to move him.”

2. His own obsession with Catelyn and later Sansa, which robably will be the 💀 for him.

“Something about the way the small man looked at her made Sansa feel as though she had no clothes on.”

Cersei Lannister as Greed

I chose her as Greed mostly because of this quote:

“… she is greedy. Greedy for power, for honour, for love.”

I was considered drawing her in green, but chose yellow like one of the Lannister colours, gold and her hair.

I also gave her a necklace with R. Most would think it’s for Robert, but actually it’s for Rhaegar. Her mourning gown gave me this idea. Black dress with rubies paralleled Rhaeghar’s armour.
