Second batch! Ratchet caught up with the boys in sub-lvl 50 after seeing Darkwing take them away from the medical bay and meets B aka Badassatron

Ratchet: Jeez kid, when’s the last time you got a patch up? I’ve seen soldiers come back with less bumps and scratches.

B: Well, let’s see. I came online, went through all the sub-levels, really my resume is INSANE, you should see all the jobs I’ve had. And then I ended up here so I’d say, never?

Ratchet: Yeah, sounds about right.

Evil Jay is Kinda a Sad Character, but Maybe Not in the Way You Think

When a lot of people think of the inherent tragedy of Post-Merge Jay, many of the common things they point too is the loneliness, isolation, and loss of everything he used to care about due to his amnesia. With good reason too, because its not just tragic how he used to have a wonderful life and he can't remember it or how he's in the worst possible position right now (alone and with a Shattered Soul, whatever that may entail), but its also tragic because everyone that cares about him are powerless to do anything to help. Even if they find him, I'm confident that its not gonna be as easy as a heartfelt reunion.

Something that I don't see many people talk about that I think is rich in that sweet, sweet angst and drama is the fact that right now, nobody wants Jay for who he is. It's an idea I've been thinking about a lot, and kinda why I'm so interested in the concept of this "Evil Jay".

What I mean about that is this... Nya and the other Ninja want the Jay they knew from before the Merge. Ras only wanted Jay to further stack the deck against the Ninja in the Tournament. Arin only wanted to go after Jay because he could have some insight on where his parents ended up after the Merge. And presumably, the Administration only wants/wanted Jay because he was a good enough Agent to get promoted to middle management.

The consensus of many fans seems to be that Jay has trouble with how he sees himself, but what about this version of Jay? When one of these parties eventually finds him, do you think they're gonna ask him how he's been or what he's been up to? Or do you think they're gonna try and get him to do something for them, whether that be giving up some information or becoming someone he doesn't remember?

Ras sees him as a tool to be used and discarded when needed, Arin sees him as a means to an end, The Administration most likely sees him as their property, and the Ninja see someone who he doesn't even remember being.

At this very moment, no one wants Jay Walker for who he is.

Finally finished my sheet for casual Cayde outfits! I love the Vanguard duds but he's gotta relax every once in awhile!

I think you did a wonderful job with drawing Cayde and I love seeing him and his friendship with Andal their brotherhood is always something I love seeing.

Pretty sure Andal is like 90% of younger Cayde’s impulse control. They’re best friends.

Especially after seeing Cayde’s character during the Final Shape and how much he’s grown. Younger Cayde was definitely more impulsive and Andal’s death did change him a lot.

Cayde hides behind a lot of his humour when he talks to the Young Wolf a lot. Even in the final shape you can tell that his little quips are to put us and Crow at ease.
