this animal. as "Axe-oh-lottle"

the term 'axolotl' comes from Nahuatl, the language of the Nahua people (or the aztecs, for the uninitiated). it is derived from atl (water) and xolotl (one of the gods in the pantheon). in nahua, x's make a 'sh' sound, not a 'ks' sound. and when you have a 'tl' at the end of the word, it is best to just omit the l (since, in english it does not flow very naturally to make the Proper sound)

with this knowledge, we realize that the word 'axolotl' is actually pronounced "ash-o-lot" and Not "axe-oh-lottle"

Copper tools were such a good addition to Minecraft for people like me who don’t wanna interact much with that stupid ass enchantment system.

Copper tools pick up the same things that stone tools do but are almost as fast as iron tools and it’s like oh finally an actual use for copper and I don’t need to stress as much about finding more iron and diamond. I can just keep my diamond pick on hand to pick up stuff that copper tools won’t and it doesn’t take me super long to do strip mining anymore.

And less time spent on that stupid ass enchanting system

Seriously the game seems to operate under the impression that you’re gonna try and put unbreaking iv on a diamond pick or something but then it randomizes what enchantments you get. Hwhat the fuck is bane of arthropods

Truuuue. Copper tools are so nice. Especially because copper ore drops multiple chunks per block like Lapis! And while I normally never bother with armour, I now have the option to get copper armour early on, letting me save my iron for things like a bucket and a single iron pickaxe! (Why must iron evade me so often)

Also screw the enchanting system. The randomization and effectively forced gambling —whether it’s with rerolling librarian trades, or using the enchantment table to enchant books— is so annoying (Bane of Arthropods would be nice IF IT WORKED ON MORE THAN THREE MOBS [Spiders, silverfish and endermites iirc])
