can i borrow your liver? i lost mine :(
Yeah I way too many spares anyways
I have no idea who Peenythus is
How the fuck do you not know who Prometheus is
Do I look like a Greek Mythologist
all you need to know is guy gets his liver eaten by big bird every day
So it’s not Greek Mythology?
Wait why the fuck is big bird eating his liver
It is Greek mythology, it’s A LARGE BIRD. NOT BIGBIRD. I REPEAT, NOT BIGBIRD
remember: the ‘holy’ white doves are just white rock doves, aka the common pigeon!
Doves are just pigeons with white privilege
Also can we talk about how STUNNING their irredentist feathers are?
This post made me finally look up whether Australian crested pigeons are also doves, and I didn’t quite understand the wiki page but I think the answer is ‘yes’.
You guys are gonna go ham when you hear about fruit doves
Dodos were also Pigeons
“Hey, that pigeon is pretty clev-oh wait nevermind”
Some very supportive people in the notes
“Not authorized or approved by J.K. Rowling.” ??? I feel like that could be the tagline to the entire drarry fandom… or hell, at this point, the entire Harry Potter fandom. And then look at the shade I found on chapter 6. God the things you find any used book store. Best $1 I’ve spent today.
reblogging this old post for salty reasons
The moment you, a bilingual, forgets a word in both languages and your brain has turned into nothing butwhite noise.
And you’re just like “YOU KNOW THE THING” and then you only know it in a third language that no one around you speaks.
That's the other thing about finishing sentences in random languages. This is more about your head just genuinely being empty while you're searching for the word, but instead only zone out and create more self-loathing, because "omg you know three languages, yet you don't know this fucking basic word".
Also I found the word. It was 'involved'. Though I'm not sure that really was the word I was going for, it brings the right message across.
The moment you, a bilingual, forgets a word in both languages and your brain has turned into nothing butwhite noise.

Birds are dinosaurs who shrugged off a couple apocalypses. Some eat bone marrow. Some drink nectar. They outswim fish in the sea. They smile politely at gravity’s demands. I am grateful to see them. I am grateful to feed them. I am grateful to know them.
Does anybody also randomly finish a sentence in another language (or accent) than they began with, ou c'est seulement moi?
I had a panic attack in German (not lesson but language) does that count?
My brain finds it unacceptable to finish a thought in another language so if I don't know a word in English while thinking in English I have to think for forever until I find the word in my head or google it or I can't finish my thought.
I do that too
Yeah same, but my brain spins the lucky wheel of languages I know the words in and finishes it that way. So I still got to know it in the original language, I just don't use it lmao
Does anybody randomly finish a sentence in another language or accent than they started with, ou c'est seulement moi?
Me: *Takes something out of the oven*

Me, blushing: Thanks, you too

Cashier: Of course.
