Reece Shearsmith as Inspector Huish in Marple
I mean at the very least we can all be agreed that Brienne is Azor Ahai reborn and The Prince That Was Promised (and of course the more beautiful one from Cerseiās prophecy), like I think thatās a solid baseline

Do you feel that Jaime has an obsessive and possessive character towards his potential romantic partners?
I mean disregarding Jaime and Cerseiās relationship (which is literally a maladaptive incest situation so thereās a whole lot more going on there than āobsessiveā and āpossessiveā behaviour), no he does not act like this w Brienne so no I therefore do not think this is a trend in Jaimeās behaviour with romantic partners. he is not obsessive over Brienne - she is not permeating his every thought, she is not distracting him from every other goal and aspiration, she is not inducing any kind of tunnel vision in him. his chapters stand in their entirety as a testament to this. as for possessive - well thereās just no example of this lol. the only person that could possibly be said to have represented a conflict to Jaimeās āpossessionā of Brienne would be Roncon, and that is not the reason Jaime strikes him - Jaime does that because of the grievous hurt Roncon has done Brienne. so in short, no. I actually feel Jaimeās feelings for Brienne are pretty healthy lol

The success of A Knight of Seven Kingdoms makes me think how much the public would enjoy the fuck out of Brienneās story if GOT had actually adapted her book chapters. Unfortunately dude bros D&D thought her arc wasnāt worth adapting. People will never know what they are missing.
Iām going to be starting an entire reread of asoiaf soon and the novellas too I think but before I do I just have to say my theory is that two very important characters are the entire moral thesis of the story/Westeros universe and everyone whoās favs are not my favs simply does not understand grrms vision the way I do šāāļøšāāļøšāāļøššš
Doing a reread now and Iām on clash of kings. itās crazy how even before we get to his pov chapters Jaime is mentioned in almost all of the others. Haunting the narrative for real. My pet theory is he and brienne will be the heart of the story going forward
