Ep. 4
I love you beary much 🥹🧸💤😴
Naps with bearleb are probably the best 🥹
i feel like doing this with my grey hair. such a pain to pluck them out though😅
If you're interested (and, have the greys to spare!) and put them in a little baggie and/or reliquary about 3-10cm in diameter, I'm making an art piece (basically, the same sentiment as this page, but about a2 size and painted, with velvet and gilding and bullionwork etc to make it like a proper reliquary) which is being displayed in London in September, that will have a load of queer people's grey hairs enshrined on it...
Actually yeah, I will make this a thing:
Reliquaries aren't expensive (5-10£ each, or fancy ones are more like £20) but trying to buy a dozen (or more) of them obviously adds up fast.
So, if you can afford to buy your own reliquary, please do! This kind of thing, the kind that can be hung on a nail:
(If you can't afford a reliquary, just use a little plastic baggie or a bit of folded paper. I found these ones at HolyArts, there is also a shop called Eden, both online and reasonably priced, but anything between about 2cm and 12cm diameter can work)
MOST IMPORTANTLY: YOUR FIRST CLASS RELIC - YOUR GREY HAIRS (Head, eyebrow, beard, body, anything is welcome!)
Optional to Include:
- A name if you want to have a name included, or an attribute if you want an attribute instead (eg "The tall" "the poor" "the Czech" etc).
- A second class relic (a scrap of fabric, a bead, a bit of lipstick on a napkin) and the explanation of the second-class relic (eg "This is smudge of glitter from the eyeshadow I wore at Pride in 2011")
Message me before the 1ST OF JULY 2026 and I'll give you a PO box to send it to. And you'll be part of a piece of art.
Hot take: you do not have the right to go into someone’s comments and accuse them of using AI just because you think their writing “looks suspicious.” You do not have the right to run their work through some unreliable AI detection tool and treat the result as proof or absolute. There are few things more harmful than these witch hunts, and few things more insulting to genuine writers after they spend hours, days, weeks, or even months working on their fics. Yes, AI generated fanfiction exists. Yes, some of it may seem obvious. But unless the writer openly admits it, you will never actually know. I do not care how many “signs” you think you see. Pattern recognition is not evidence. Vibes are not evidence. AI detectors are not, and never will be, evidence. They are tools with serious known flaws, and using them to publicly accuse people is deeply irresponsible. You have every right to block someone. You have every right to stop reading a fic. You have every right to decide what you personally do or do not want to engage with. What you do not have is the right to publicly accuse someone of something you cannot prove. Witch hunting AI does not make you a good person. It does not make you a protector of your fandom. It does not make you morally superior. It just makes you someone who is willing to hurt real writers in your pursuit of feeling righteous. And honestly, these superiority complexes are what is ruining spaces like AO3. Not just the fear of AI, but the growing belief that suspicion is enough to justify cruelty. Real authors are being chased out, discouraged, and humiliated because people would rather accuse first and think later. There is nothing inspiring about that. There is nothing noble about it. This obsession with claiming the moral high ground, even at the cost of genuine writers, is exhausting. It disgusts me, we are already not entitled to the work fanfiction authors give out and now they must fear accusations if they do post.
If you believe AI accusations are alright to post, then I hope I never see you posting about AO3 or Tumblr being ruined when it comes to fanfiction because YOU are part of the problem.
Yeah i’ll be taking a break from tumblr for a bit. Don’t miss me too much

i may be a pervert but i'm a hopeless romantic at heart
things I won’t let ai take away from human writers
em dash
“not x, not y, but z”
short sentence stacking as a stylistic choice
none of these belong to ai. these are all what human writers have been writing since day one, way before ai was invented. ai was trained to mimic how human writers write — so em dash, not x not y but z and short sentence stacking would never have been used by ai at all if ai hadn’t learned and mimicked them from human writers.
no, you are not “fighting against ai” by accusing every work that has em dash, not x not y but z or short sentence stacking in it as ai-generated, you are helping ai harm the writing community by engaging in witch hunt and scaring human writers away from creating/sharing their works for fear of being wrongly accused of using ai.
speculations, accusations and ai witch hunt harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.
every banner is a spicy banner if you're enough of a pervert
never stop being obnoxious about fictional character online. you will find like-minded people and it will literally save you
Yay (not) So,today I got my first accusation about using AI to draw. Even had my posts removed from a server for art. I provided PUBLIC proof that I didn't via a timelapse and then a video of myself drawing it and they doubled down anyway, resulting in a block and the mods having to apologize but after they removed my work without even giving me an hour to respond. They simply took the other person's side immediately. All the comments and tips I asked to get better, removed as the post went away, which mean I lost that too.
Look, I get times are weird with the usage of AI, but it's so insulting for people to just throw accusations like that and then double down when plenty of prove has been provided. Curiosity is fine, but accusations without proof harm to not only people's livelihoods and take away their desire to continue creating (in this case, I started doubting myself and thought maybe my art style was so generic that it looked AI made)
Just because someone knows how to do something you do not, does not make it okay to be so hateful. My art is beginner art, people can do way better than me, but it's still mine. I spend countless of hours drawing and painting every little detail and watching tutorials so I can learn and it's hurtful to see all my hard work being dismissed, because, yes, I am not naturally artistic, I work damn hard at it ton just do something basic.
Anyway, this was a rant. I will tag LADS fanart, but only because it's relevant to that community.
This is the art they questioned btw.
