Good naps will have you sleeping in poses usually reserved for dead insects
Rolls to Alarm Your Players
Want to spice the game up? Why not try alarming your players for no real reason? Make sure to make a show out of counting the dice before you roll.
The Monster Manual but it's blatantly written by the monsters
Made a thing. Never been much of a visual artist until I started drawing on my iPad the other year.
Anyway, drawing is apparently a great way to mull over a character for D&D.
Bucky and his two constructs, Theo and Ori:
Constructed of wood, steel, paper and a little magic,(and definitely no animal bones); these companions,(not that they have souls), are only a few displays of Bucky’s magical engineering prowess. His magical rapid-load’n, wrist mounted crossbow on his right and a shield with a magical projectile chain whip on the left. He controls all of his clever devices with a switch board, combinations of small levers pressed against his left palm. He controls his dangerous animal instincts with his iron will,(but only bearly). His injected home-brew healing serums sure do hurt like the dickens, but they do the trick. Bucky is always on the lookout for how to save a life,(unless he’s accidentally clawing it from your chest in a blind rage).
Bucky has recently made friends,(terribly tragic idea that is), but he has a hard time relating to people. He’s spent the last 11 years living in a cabin in the woods on a remote island,(and definitely didn’t go crazy, or start talking to rocks, or start using animal bones in his machines). Bucky can only hope he can maintain this friendship and contribute to his new team,(without his secrets coming out). Can he keep friends for the first time in decades, or will the pressure be too much to bear? Only time will tell(in approximately 12 days at dusk).
at all points I was ready for him to start eating the stands
This was disturbingly normal for him
The SS Warrimoo, a passenger steamship traveling from Vancouver to Australia, was silently knifing its way across the mid-Pacific waters. The navigator had just finished calculating a star fix and handed the results to Captain John DS. Phillips.
The Warrimoo's coordinates were LAT 0º 31' N, LONG 179 30' W. The date was December 31, 1899. "Know what this means?" First Mate Payton announced, "We're only a few miles from the intersection of the Equator and the International Date Line."
Captain Phillips was prankish enough to seize the opportunity to do the nautical feat of a lifetime. He summoned his navigators to the bridge to double-check the ship's position. He altered his course slightly to focus directly on his target. He then altered the engine's speed.
The calm weather and clear night worked to his advantage. At midnight, the SS Warrimoo rested on the Equator, exactly where it had crossed the International Date Line. The ramifications of this odd arrangement were numerous.
The ship's bow was in the Southern Hemisphere, in the middle of summer. The stern was in the Northern Hemisphere, in the midst of winter. The date on the aft portion of the ship was December 31, 1899. The date on the forward half of the ship was January 1, 1900. The ship experienced multiple days, months, years, seasons, and centuries simultaneously.
